Hopefully we hang on to Sanchez and Ozil in addition to the signings we need. I don't want another net nil transfer period.

Sanchez will probably go to fund Xhaka though

Have said it before, but I foresee at least one of Welbeck, Ox or Walcott being sold this summer.

Hoping to retain Alexis and Ozil but being a realist, wouldn't surprise me if either leaves. They're too good for Arsenal.

Juve or Bayern. Wouldn't rule City out either, though I'd hope Sanchez is above that.
Why Juve? Non-competitive league and Arsenal could offer him similar wages. I don't rate their chances of winning the CL any time soon either. I don't see the appeal.

Don't Bayern have Coman and Robben on the RW? Not sure that's a position they need to fill.

And City just spent 50m on Sterling and a shit load on KdB. Do they really need another winger?

The league will improve, and Juve are a much better chance than we are to win any European trophy

Robben is old and past it, Sanchez would be an ideal replacement. Coman, Costa and Sanchez. Wowsers.

I doubt Pep will be told which type of player he should buy. Could come in and replace Navas, while Silva and Toure are also likely to leave

As will English football with all the money that will be coming in soon.

It will mean one of Coman, Costa or Sanchez is sitting on the bench more often than not. You can't fit Lewandowski, Costa, Muller, Sanchez and Coman into the same lineup. Would be such a luxury signing IMO.

I still can't see Alexis moving to a direct rival. He just doesn't seem that type of player. City will try. I think he will refuse.

But anyway, I hope he stays in the Prem. Such a likeable player, even though he's a Gooner :thumbsu:

It all depends on how disillusioned he is with our future prospects. A few astute signings might go a fair way to changing his attitude towards the club.

And yeah, let's hope so :thumbsu: the league needs more stars to come and stay, not leave for Barca/Madrid/Bayern riches.

Welbz out for 9 months, will be like a new signing in March when he returns for the 4th place run in.
We're ******. Significant cartilage damage requiring 9 months out? He would've been better off doing his ACL.

Watch us not sign a forward, and watch us have an absolute season from hell.

Must've been an ACL for Welbeck. That's a damn shame, has a had a bad run of injuries for a few years now.

Definitely means we need to be active for forwards this summer. And I hope that doesn't just mean a recall of Sanogo.

Wenger might be tempted to retain Joel Campbell given Ox and Welbeck are out for sometime. But for Joel's sake, I hope he leaves and finds first team football elsewhere.

We can't possibly not buy a forward this window.

Yes I know it's Wenger and he's been grossly negligent before, but surely this is different.

We seriously don't know this, and have nothing to give us confidence that it'll happen. It's all up in the air with Wenger until he actually does it.
