He is very good friends with Kos when they played together in Ligue 2. He is meant to of knocked back more money from QPR to join Arsenal.

I think its the two clubs that have agreed the deal and that will be announced in the next 48 hours and once the euros are over giroud will put pen to paper. Btw he is room mates with Kos at the euros and they are best mates.
From what I've read he hasn't even been spoken to about signing a new contract, i think he wants 80,000 a week.

Also, looked into getting tickets for a game, going to cost $130-$150.
its ridiculous how much they cost. A club as big as ours shouldn't make the fans pay that much for a ticket.
Most expensive tickets in England. It's a lot of money but it's going to be fvcking worth it.
With giroud and podolski coming in I would like to see us to line up like this for the coming season.

I give RVP freedom so he would be more a mid/forward then a wingmen. Only problem with the team is that the front three are all left footed though RVP and Giroud are pretty good on their opposite foot. And with a midfield of song, arteta and M'Villa there may not be enough creativity but i can not see it leaking many goals.

maybe im being too optimistic here, but i disagree with this. to me, chamakh, park, bendtner, vela etc are all on the way out and naturally we need to replace our squad of forwards.

Seriously though, they are using Nedved to try and convince RvP to go over there. I think they are gonna offer him like 180k as well.
His dad (I think) said he won't be playing for another team in England. I think Real have enough forwards and I don't see Barca going for him. Will probably go for someone Spanish and younger.
I dunno about the Italian league for RvP, I am quite a big Juventus fan but I'd rather him stay here of course. I think Italian league is just too slow and boring for him. He will win the league over there though if he is after money and a trophy. Could see them doing pretty decent in the CL as well, with a world class striker they'd be very hard to beat.
The thing that's pleasing me the most is the talk of getting rid of a lot of deadwood. But who would want a lot of these guys? Haven't played much football in recent years and haven't shown much when they have played. Djourou was decent the season before but dropped off a bit this season. Oh and they are on some pretty stupid wages. Although the talk pleases me, once they sell these guys I will be very happy. It's a move in the right direction. We aren't really signing stars at the moment though, just talk of very solid players. I'd love for us to be beat a team like Barca or City to signing a world class player. Money talks though eh. I'd still love a left back, Gibbs is just solid and Santos is mediocre defensively, good offensively though. Seem to have a heap of forwards though, and not sure how many midfielders we need.

He has 6 months left on his contract and we have been linked with him in the past. A couple of years ago. Though apparently chelsea are interested which would put us out of contention and he doesn't have a good attitude from what I've read. Also Arshavin plays his best when he plays through the middle, plays there both for country and zenit.
Bartley was terrible for rangers though he played right back so that may have been the reason.
Why does it matter if RVP doesn't score 37 goals again if it means he scores 15 and gets 20 assist, giroud scores 15 and poldolski scores 15 too. Then you have the likes of walcott and gervinho getting similar numbers to what they got last season. And if you read what i said, you would have seen that i had RVP playing centrally in a CAM type role. Also out song,wilshere,M'Villa and arteta. Song is the most creative so i would pick him before the others.
