$43 million well spent. Cracking first touch from Ozil and top finish from Giroud. And as I type he puts Walcott through.

Giroud :hearts:

Walcott should have a hatrick by now, and Ozil 3 assists in 1 start. Those were some really poor efforts.

The way Ozil has just fit into the side is phenomenal, it's like he's already been here a season. Sure, Sunderland are making it easy, but the interplay between the midfield is already bordering on psychic.

Lets just take those 3 points and move on, because we were almost one-half Arsenal again.

This is where the lack of bench options killed us - Walcott not only butchered his chances, but his full back was running rampant down that side with nary a whisper from Walcott unless we were going forward. With real bench options he'd have been subbed at the 65 minute mark.

Ozil faded, but then he was always going to, even without the illness the step up in pace from Spain to England leaves most breathless.

It's so beautiful...

Giroud is all class. Hopefully his injury isn't serious - he looked okay on the bench at the end.
That 2nd half was rubbish really. We scored both goals against the run of play but it was worrying the way we dropped off.

Player rankings:

#1 Aaron Ramsey - 88 passes (92%), 7 tackles, 2 goals
#2 Olivier Giroud - 5 shots, 6 aerial duels won, 1 goal, 1 assist
#3 Mesut Ozil - 79 passes (90%), 3 chances created, 1 assist
