Ramsey is the new Bale.

We'll be fending off the big spenders if he keeps this up.

And now you see the true reason why Real were so conciliatory after Higuain and kind to shepherd Ozil to us instead of letting PSG and possibly others turn it into a bidding war - buttering us up for when they came back in a few years to try and take someone. Probably Jack at the time, but Ramsey now as well.

Ramsey's form has been brilliant, but it needs to be sustained for a period of time before we worry about other clubs swooping for him.

Apart from Walcott's goal against Marseille, when was the last time we scored where one of Ozil, Ramsey or Giroud were not involved?

Bold statement coming up... however Giroud hold up play and passing is better than RvP.

Both goals today, it was two passes before each goal was scored that generated the chance. For Ozil's goal, it was Giroud back-heal to Ramsey and for Giroud's goal, it was his interception from the poor clearance and pass to Ozil, in which he kept on running and scored.

RvP is a finisher and a game saver... best in the world, so not being bitter in saying this, however Giroud suits us more than RvP imo. Giroud's ability to win nearly every single aerial challenge and play the Arsenal way, whilst not losing his cool and actually staying on the field, we are not missing out on too much that RvP would offer.
Agree.

Giroud has been magnificent so far this season his hold up play and quick one touch passing is brilliant, he was good last season now he is close to the best striker in the EPL. I have RVP ahead of him but that's only for his finishing/match winning ability.

We are absolutely on fire atm am loving every minute of it!!

I need to get back to London soon and see them live.

They would have been paving the way for taking Jack from us, should he reach that level in 2 or 3 years

So bloody proud of this team so far!!! Giroud's hold up play was excellent, Flamini was a bulldog in midfield, Ramsey and Ozil were sublime but i was also super impressed with our defence. For a team with numerous attacking options like Napoli, Wojiech really didn't have a save to make.

Giroud is in excellent touch, but still a clear level below the likes of RvP and Suarez. Those two are the best in the EPL and amongst the world's best. Giroud, like Ramsey, needs to sustain this level of form for a period of time before we can start elevating them into the elite categories. On current form though, Giroud and Ramsey in the top handful of players currently plying their trade in England.

In fairness, the lack of Higuain hurt Napoli, he has been key for them so far this season. Both Arsenal and Napoli have excellent domestic form behind them, but especially in that first half, only we managed to bring that level of football to this game.

Flamini did a first class job on Hamsik. Credit where massive credit is due, Wenger's acquisition of Flamini has been a brilliant piece of business. He has slotted into the midfield beautifully and has a lot of c*nt about him which has been very welcome.

Well done, Arsenal were too fast and too smart, they are playing great :)

.
Higuain is a smart player and a very good finisher/poacher but Napoli created 0 clear cut oppurtunities all game so im not sure his inclusion would have added all that much to this morning's performance, they were just toothless in midfield and their attacking players spent most of the game shooting the ball into row Z from about 25 yards out.

Not looking for likes or anything but you guys are looking very good and stable at the moment. I'm actually happy for you and i think you are a real shot at the title, pending injuries in defence and Wilshere. You're looking the strongest since 07/08 imo. Started taking real notice of Ramsey this season too, would love that goal-scoring ability (even if it is temporary) and work ethic especially, in Anderson.

Wilshere has not been great. Arteta/Ramsey should be ahead of him at full fitness atm.

How good has Flamini been? Its like he never went anywhere!

Full credit to Flamini aswell, Arsene said it was never his intention to sign him but had to after seeing how committed he was in training he couldnt not sign him.

Wenger got the tactics spot on this morning. Played Arteta and Flamini together so one could always track Hamsik which stopped Napoli from creating any real chances. Do the same away and should get a similar result.

Has been a key part to our recent success. Hopefully he can keep it going.

I still can't get over Özil's strike. So hard to execute, it was beautiful to watch. His assist was also majestical

However I was impressed with Giroud's work in both goals. Holding up the ball and then flicking it on to Ramsey was integral to the first goal. His work rate in the second was brilliant as well. It is awesome to see him putting in 100% effort, and doing so many things all around the pitch. Quality CF

Wank bank, haven't said that since high school but heck I forgot how funny that saying is. Quality.

Watching the replay again, geez I hate espn. Shocking coverage, just idiotic ramblings in a studio with minimal sound from the crowd and actual game.

Some things are better to be not said, hey.

I found a full SkySports replay on DailyMotion, if that's legal to say on this forum, haha. Was impeccable!
