Vucinic would appear the most likely signing. Its probably going to only be one of Draxler, Morata or Vucinic.

That was the talk recently, that Vucinic leaving was dependent on Juve getting Osvaldo.

Word overnight (apparently from his agent) is that Vucinic is now staying put, starting to get worried

Anything that we do end up doing appears to be a last minute scramble. ie Monreal this time a year ago, Ozil and Flamini in the last hours of August. It'd be ideal if we got our signings done and dusted early and like other clubs who have their squads prepared.

But yes, I do worry that nothing will happen tomorrow morning. A couple of weeks ago, you could've argued that we don't need anyone as the current squad more or less has so far delivered. But its the injuries to Walcott and Ramsey in particular, and the consistent niggles for Wilshere, Arteta, Rosicky etc that leave us exposed in midfield. Flamini's suspension doesn't help but you don't necessarily go out and sign a new CM to cover a bloke suspended for 4 games.

We'd be placing a lot of hope that Giroud, Ozil, Cazorla staying fit for the rest of the term.

I can see the excitement over signing Draxler but i can also see the reason we are not willing to pay 37 mill for him. He is a talent but not yet the finished article. Its not what we need now.

I, like most get excited and caught up with the rumours and innuendo of transfer windows, but in the cold heart light of day, we dont need him now, we need a farken striker. I would prefer we offered 40 mill for Costa (although he wont come), i use this as an example only.

At 31 Kallstrom is a squad depth player, nothing more nothing less. He'll probably get a 2 year deal and depending on the price it wont be that bad. He can play wide/through the middle.

Wenger WILL NOT spend big on a player unless it is 100% the player he wants and will slot straight into the first team, regardless of needs.

The big name players wont be moving in this window unless stupid money is thrown around. That's never been Arsene's way.

Edit - If its a loan deal even better. Absolutely nothing to lose.

Best thing for him is to play consistantly, he obviously thought he was good enough for Arsenal and if he really is he'll find himself in a top tier league in the near future.
