Anyone notice Gav's run down the wing in the last when Boomer had the ball?

Boomer took off at full pace and Gav ran to support and shot by him at warp speed. He was flying.

He has serious pace when he gets going.

Yes, he was flying, laid one shepard, and then flew by and was about to deliver a second bump when Boomer kicked the ball.

He was absolutely flying!

It's the best look when he comes out of the pack. It is like he is going in slow mode. He did it a couple of times and you only have to look back at that VFL grandfinal again as say sheesh!

This is right, they're generally not ignoring heaps of options up forward when they kick backwards. It's usually congested and static ahead and there's no run from behind.

This is why we need to get JWS right, somehow...he is one player who wants to run from behind and actually thrives on breaking lines.
He actually tempts blokes to come at him so he can run past them.

I was so happy with Gav's effort. One of the best efforts for the day.
I jumped to my feet and screamed at him to keep that support up and turned to the north crowd around (members wing) and demended they acknowledge such an unselfish effort.

Need more of that selflessness to raise the bar.
