Hard to go past Murray or Djokovic.
I saw the Isner/Hewitt match the other night in Atlanta. Hewitt still batttling away. Isner makes some ridiculously dumb mistakes, like attacking the net on drives straight down the middle. And has absolutely no net game. If he couldnt serve and was 6 feet tall he would be nowehere. And he's USA's best player at the moment!
I gotta bad feeling about Tomic. He wont be liked in the US after he tanked last year against Roddick.

Still so much prep to go but I guess form book is telling us Murray and Djokovic, we"ll see how these two 1000 tournaments go first.

Would love a Rafa Nadal win (Massive fan).. But i think Federer will bounce back and take out the US Open if he is fit and does play.

Embarrassed? Lopez is a good player. Especially on grass.
Not sure where else to post this, but does anyone find it odd that Stosur has sacked/parted ways/whatever you wanna call it her coach just before USO? I guess the decision in itself is not weird, but the timing makes you wonder if something happened.... Molik is the coach for the time being.

As much as I think this is good for her yeah I have to question the timing, just before a major is not something ideal, it's rather odd. Molik won't change much for her, she's good friends with as she was with Dave so can't see it changing her prep much. She always seemed too comfortable with Dave and I really do think the right coach might be what she needs to get back to her best so this is the right call, I'm really hoping for someone good.
Anyone seen any ad's for the US Open on Foxtel? It's going to be shown but the lack of advertisements makes me think they aren't sending a team this year, which would be rather disappointing.

I don't why everyone is saying Del Potro is a chance. He peaked early his best his past him. Over rated player IMO.

Yeah that Wimbledon SF this year never happened.... I couldn't disagree more, I would actually put him as one of my favourites with Djoko, Nadal and Murray. The Isner loss was a bit odd but he's capable of challenging anyone with his game and the American hardcourts is his favourite surface.
He still has the random losses quite often. Chardy, Simon, Paire, Hewitt, Nieminen, Isner and even Kamke have beat him this year. He needs to cut out them ranodm losses.

Us Open qualies started this morning. Three are through with a few more to play tomorrow morning including nick kygrios playing Greg jones. Dellacqua, Rogowska & Reid got through, Olivia had a great win over Konta. Poor losses from Ebden and Groth, was hoping for them to qualify, not lose first round.
