another walkover, this is great for Novak.

It's a shame Tsonga wasnt fit, otherwise this would've been a good match.

A few players are injured at the moment, some of them play too much tennis during the year. I was wondering how Thiem would go towards the end of the tennis year, he has played in quite a few tournaments this year.

just on the slam not getting much coverage, it has being a pretty lacklustre tournament overall, alot of retirements in the draw and i can only think of 1 or 2 really top matches, like nadal v pouille

watched some of the footy week before last and it was sad hearing basil commentate.

As for the tennis well u.s networks heavily edit there sports so they would find a way to cut out anything post 7-6 in the 5th.

Also that useless clown al said multiple times in the early night sessions of the u.s why cant mens tennis be best of 3 sets, just proves my point

Was going to say the same thing, it's not a Slam without a couple of matches going to 16-18 in the fifth set or similar. Tiebreakers are OK for everything else but not a Slam!!!

the nadal pouille match could easily have gone 23-21 or some crazy score like that and nadal would still be in the tournament to i reckon, stupid tiebreak

I'm just happy that most of my favourite players are doing well, Del Potro, Monfils, Kerber & Wozniacki. Shame about Kyrgios & Ivanovic though.
