I assuming he will play, depending on his injuries. But he seems ok now, just needs to work on his fitness levels and his ranking will improve.

**** I love DelPo, what a great character and player. Such a shame he had all that trouble with injuries, could've been absolutely anything. I too would love to see him play Aus Open next year, he is a pleasure to watch.

It's just great to see Del Potro back in the pack after a massive injury lay-off for the last few years. The mere fact that he's returned and hasn't had any further setbacks is fantastic and in itself a success.

There's no disputing that he's one of the most-liked players on tour as the US Open crowd demonstrated tonight.
