clijsters looks excelent she is very fresh and confident and i wouldnt be surprised if she dominates serena in the next round, she's the real deal.

rafa played amazing in melbourne earlier this year, he looks like a 10 - 20 ranked player at best right now, i thought by the second week he would have gotten his groove back but ...

I think his usual game where he makes his opponent run end to end untill he gets in a good position isnt working cos monflis is bloody quick, should be a good game though

Damn uni. I wish I was sitting at home watching Monfils. That guy is very entertaining when he brings his game. Which seems to be the case today. Up 5-2 in the first set against Rafa.

Monfils is a good player but a clown. That is it. Same before the game same after. Nadal is a champion, same before, same after.

Only, perhaps, a small difference in quality but a big difference in mentality.

Nadal coems from a strong family, by the looks of it, maybe Monfils parents didnt love him enough hence why he moved away to Nyon whilst Nadal stayed in Mallorca, despite tax. We don't know,too many nuances.

Only thing we cannot say is that Monfills choked. He did not.
He was expected to lose, and he did.

He's got the game there and he's improved alot Monfils. I reckon he needs one or 2 more seasons before mentally he can compete with the big boys. Physically he's ok but still lacks stamina. Need to work on his aerobic capacity as he struggles to play 4 sets+. His game is still immature but can't wait til he puts it all together.

All the Frenchies seem to be a bit mentally fragile. Why is that?

Monfils just cannot keep up that standard over 5 sets, knew it was gone after the second set. He might be lacking a bit in overall endurance but do you expect when you run like he did in some those rallies over the first two hours, it's not really being more aggresive because he can go for his shots at times and he did today but more his mentality and the choice of when to go for shots and not when to have insane 30 shot rallies with Nadal when he could attack earlier in the rally.

No way Nadal is injuried, maybe slightly but you can't be playing that well and be injuried, just isn't possible. Over-hyped.

Watching the ESPN stream tonight was the best, they have the McEnroe's in commentary with Darren Cahill courtside, pefrect combination.
