It has now been uncovered that he had been married to a woman less than two weeks before he launched his campaign.

This follows reports that the colleges he said he attended don't have records of him, nor do former claimed employers Citigroup and Goldman Sachs and the IRS have no record of his non-profit. He also appears to have potentially embellished stories linking his mother's death to September 11 despite her dying in 2016 and may have made up claims to have Jewish ancestry.

In summary, he makes a pretty compelling figure for the Republican presidential nomination.

I’m probably quibbling but the looking around I have is

• founder of fdx does have warrant for extradition (and mainstream media stories indicate he stated will cooperate with the extradition)
• Ellison and wang have been charged and are cooperating with investigators
• the timeline (from the Washington post) though is not the same as your article (WaPo has it happening last Monday, not jan 19 2022)

Edit and now opening the DoJ statement it does look very similar to the screenshot you posted with however the DoJ statement using December not January

So if you think the date is significant for some (?election denier/ cooker rationale) then I can conclude you have been misled.

Not sure of the relevance in an election thread but yes the above is correct.

2 people have already plead guilty and now SBF has been released on $250m bail.

And the court is ok as to where the money is coming from ???
