What led to the something else?

12 months of being a bad poster. Someone doesn't get banned from the site due to 1 thing.

If you accumulate enough points in a 12 month period you will lose privileges:

5 points - 1 week account suspension.
10 points - 2 weeks account suspension
15 points - 3 weeks account suspension
20 points - Your time is up. Permanent ban.

DrMike is right. Cogga being banned was a cumulative infraction total worth 20 points. It wasn't a singular infraction, as only supers and admin have the ability to instantly permaban.

I have never been that poster you just described .

I have heard that company line many times when it has pertained to other posters and we all know that the infraction button is discretionary amongst a mod vote and chat

Not sure what bad poster means, calling Essendon cheats is a bad poster to some, asking for Hardwick to be sacked is being a bad poster for some, others beLittle posters with different opinions as well yet it's ok

Of course I have had warnings, bans and thread holidays.. I meant I have never deliberately bullied or belittled other posters for having a differing opinion. Jesus Mike you should become a mod again because you obviously haven't let go

Someone tell me with good logic why we kept the Russian on for another year?

I would say because if Hampson goes down we needed a back up. (Given Hammers dodgy ankles it would be wise for us to have some backup)
In saying that you have to hope he is fully over his back issues as no pont having him as a backup if he is not fit.

After re-signing Maric we picked up Nanna. He will probably go ahead of Maric, but even then he is unproven as a number 1 ruck yet, so Maric is still probably a good option to have.
The next guys in line are far too inexperienced to be the number 1 ruck.

Could we have picked up another experienced ruck (ie Minson)? We just have to hope they made the right call on Maric vs another option.

No we have a difference of opinion, there are a few posters with targets on their backs, me included and cogga was one of them, I see it as the start of the cull, the ones that are left can sit around the campfire and sing koombaya, and bask in the stability off the club

Unfortunately the ability to put across your opinion doesn't also extend to the ability to call people who disagree whatever you want or even make threats against others for that matter.
Posting what was said on SEN he other day is entirely irrelevant to the infraction he was given. He is free to contact support about it if he has issue we can't reverse it anyway.

If you want to go there, I walked away because I didn't have time for it due to work, Uni and helping to care for my now deceased Grandmother. My opinion before, during and after my time modding this board is unchanged. Although now I'm probably more informed and have very little sympathy for someone who infracts out when there is ample opportunity to change. If they don't want to change that's their choice but it is also the choice of BigFooty to remove someone's access

Every single person I have spoken to outside of discussions in the Yarran thread last night and this thread this morning is disgusted. The only people that want to make this about Cogga are those who are mates with him or are anti-establishment. I get that, you want to look out for your mate, but you have a one-sided bias view and you all just shat over what is a really sad time for a player to serve your own purposes. You should all be ashamed
