With all the injuries to their quota of Melbourne players (they only had 5 in on Saturday), I reckon theres a chance they will go out before the GF.

Sandy lost to Willi at home, there is HOPE!!

And Nth Ballarat came from 59 points behind to beat the Bendigo bombers in the 1st Elimination final.....they were lucky, Bombers had hardly anyone in....such an up and down team Nth.

Can't wait for tomorrow, i won't be too nervous because its the VFL team so i can enjoy the game more.

Yeah, I watched it, it was a great game. Makes me feel like we can go well since we bet North Ballarat, a few weeks ago, and they seem to be a quality side (from what I've seen.)

how many people you guys reckon would be there? was around 3000 last year in the first final if i remember right.. anyway.. I'm more nervous for tomorrow's game than tonight's.. because we will win easily hehe.

hmm.. do you reckon this is good, or bad for us? Presuming we win, we would probably play Sandy in the prelim. I guess if you're going to win it, you have to beat everyone......

There should be at least 2,500 there, there will be heaps of Geelong supporters (hopefully), like last years first final, but since its Coburg (Richmond) we may not outnumber the opposition as heavily.

The key thing is that Sandy aren't getting a heap of players back from Melbourne because most of them are out injured. They still won't be able to fill up their 12 man AFL listed quota.

Keep in mind also that because we will still be in the finals hunt in the AFL come week 3 of VFL finals (should we get that far), we can pick anyone we want without restriction. So that means someone like Varcoe, who would not be able to play our next VFL final if we were out of the AFL finals, will get a guernsey if he gets dropped because we are still alive.

I'm actually more worried about Willy than I am about Sandy at the moment. The Gulls will have a few good young blokes dropping back from Collingwood. I'm pretty sure guys like Clarke and Goldsack are eligible to drop back and play VFL finals even if Collingwood get bowled out of the AFL finals next week.
