Problem with the league right here. Commentary from all 3 games so far has been very one sided and a big reason why threads like this exist

All 3 non Vic teams were terrible as well, so there is that.

Does the Adelaide media broadcast to a national audience or just to Adelaide?

I was under the impression the folks broadcasting the game were for a national audience not just Victoria

I live in Adelaide and have lived on the Gold Coast for 5 years, I also grew up in a town with 9 other teams.

I’d suggest it’s the people who have only had it their way, or the other way, are the ones who have no idea about what “normal” is

Crows, as an inexperienced finals team, lose to Collingwood (with finals experience and recent GF experience). Nothing new here. Happens all the time.
GWS, gamble with players returning from injury, suffer in game injuries, are gallant, but ultimately beaten by a better, healthier, team. Nothing new again.
Cats, with a healthy list, defeat an injured depleted Brisbane. Again nothing we haven't seen before.

Unfortunately, you see every Vic team win as a conspiracy.

Viewing everything through a lens with a complete lack of impartiality, but yet expecting complete impartiality from others.
The lack of self awareness is staggering.

The emotional reactions to a result that has nothing to do with any of these people’s clubs say’s everything.
Anything leaning Vic - confirmed, anything the other way either goes unheard or is used as a pity offering.

No problem with the Pies/Cats wins, but GWS got absolutely reamed today by the Umps and you know it.

Not kicking a goal in the first 10 minutes when the ball was camped in GWS F50.

Toby Greene missing an important goal in Q4.

Dylan Moore and Blake Hardwick going into beast mode in Q4 when they were well held in the first 3.

They finished top because you guys shat the bed 6 weeks ago and lost 4-5 in a row. Before that you were 10 points clear and a lock for top spot. Adelaide don’t finish top if Collingwood had of played just average the last 6 weeks.
And why don’t you put up a poll on the main board who has a better fixture yearly, Collingwood or any non vic team.
I don’t think many agree with you on this. Maybe some of your pies mates do??

Collingwood undoubtedly have the best fixture for tv viewership and thus growing the club.

But in terms of winning games of footy, I've got no idea how anyone can be adamant that Collingwood's fixture is more favourable with a heap of neutral games and an equal number of genuine advantage and disadvantage games, where with the advantage games our opponent is far more familiar with playing in the city and the venue than we are when playing interstate. I've also got no idea why people would ignore the reality that the Adelaide teams lose so many home finals - suggesting that their ladder position often flatters how good they are.

Actually, I'm lying - I live in Adelaide, so I do have an idea - there's a heap of parochial media who sell this story and many Adelaidians for some strange reason want to view themselves as disadvantaged.

Boy do GWS know how to stuff up a final - their first half was just awful. One hell of a 15 minutes to get back into it though - but they were spent by the end.
