Some of us witnessed some brilliant Test sides in our time that seemed clear number 1 in world for a period of time. For the sake of this virtual 4 Team SuperTest Series I am thinking of the great West Indies teams I was in awe of as a kid. Then around early 2000's the Aussie side with basically an allrounder keeper batting no 7 seemed an awesome team to beat for other sides. Before my time I can only assume the South African teams just before banned in 1970 must have been a special team and the Aussie team in mid 70's with Lillee and Thommo must have been breathtaking bowling duo go at it against other sides.
They all host a series at home between 4 teams with each meeting the other once in that part of tour as they visit each sides nation once. Who wins the overall champions trophy?
South Africa 1967 to 70 era
Australia 1973 to 76 era
West Indies 1980 to 83 era
Australia 2000 to 03 era
They each play 12 SuperTests in the overall series with playing the other side 4 times across the 4 tours.
Work it out anyway you like but restricted to players that represented their nation at some point in those periods.
