Okay, I've got it figured out. Just how to fix these problems and get our beautiful Blues back to the top.

Cast your minds back a few years and see if you can remember a story about an Aboriginal elder placing a curse on Jack and the CFC.
Ever since that curse was invoked everything has fallen apart. Things go from bad to worse and just keep getting worse!
I know curses and spells are just superstition, but is it just coincidence that all this disaster has befallen the Blues or is there something to it?

So it seems to me all we have to do is find that Aboriginal elder and ask him to remove the curse and all will be good again. It makes sense, you know it does.

Being serious though, does anyone remember that story about the curse or am I imagining things?

That was Collingwood, and Alan McAllister from memory. They lifted that curse years ago, not that any aboriginal curse will be as dire as just being Collingwood is.

I remember the Collingwood one. But I thought there was one put on Jack as well. It was just before his business went bust and before he was ousted as President.
IIRC, I do remember a story on the news about some Aboriginal people lifting a curse of Princes Park. Pretty sure about it, would have been a couple years ago.

Was in Darwin for Rupert baby around that time.

It is was John Kelly Country,
who pointed the bone at Collingwood, after the Winmar jumper lifting,
then Big Al saying something along the lines of
'we accept all races, as long as they act like white people'

So John, known for his self publicity,
got a free plug around Australia,
and a 20x7 front page pic
in the NT News,
for getting on the gear,
and waving the bone.

Seems to have worked.
Pretty sure we ran a story on 'Haunted House in Humpty Doo',
same day.
Big news week for sure.
