Few good players but I thought the team were down in general.

Thought McLoed, Van Berlo, Rutten and Thompson can hold their heads high. I can't really give votes because it was just extremely disappointing.

Jason Torney was the standout for mine and, with all due respect, if he's a best then we haven't had a good day.

POTY

5. Rutten - Big Ben lowered the colours of the big Q in fine style. Can walk off the ground proud.

4. Torney - Courageous game in defence. If only the forwards could have copied his and Rutten's efforts.

3. McLeod - Provided great dash and rebound until injured.

2. Massie - Showed up some of the bigger name players today with a very complete and tidy performance.

1. van Berlo - a toss-up for this spot between VB, Thompson, Edwards and Knights. Gave it to VB because on balance he probably made less errors.

Best Team Man

3. Torney - see above. Brave, courageous, effective.

2. Massie - see above

1. Johncock - a little loose at times but overall put his body on the line time after time.

Rookie

2. Knights - we expect a lot from the ball magnet, but the bottom line is that he still did have 22 disposals in a quieter game by his own standards.

1. Porplyzia - a real mixture of a game. Some really good things mixed up with some very average. Just got a point.

I see I'm not the only one. It's not quite at the heartbreak, sick in the pits of the stomach stage, ala PF 2006, but its just so aggravating, frustrating re:WC. We laid down in the second half, dissapointing. AS others have pointed out, Big Ben was a star, so I'll contribute this and this only.

5. Ben Rutten.

That is all. :thumbsd:

Now that I've calmed down a bit, although still very annoyed, I'll do my votes.

I also felt like only The Truck deserved to be only the one to get my votes.
That was yesterday, this is today and I've settled down now.

Torney and Macca. Some of the stuff Macca did was just inspirational. Torney really stood out for me. I guess Rutten did alright because i didnt notice the big Q. I thought Knights was gonna play a ripper but he just never seemed to get into the game.

This was fairly difficult.
Strange for people to give so many votes to a guy purposely led away from the play who did nothing to counter the fact, Ruttens rivals Mattners performance....Lynch runs Rutten out of the contest every time we play WC he is strong bodied and sizable with him out of there it becomes easy for them overhead...
