Better effort kicking our highest score of the year.

The real positives are that Haze was the best he has been all year and how great is it that Rodger is Back bigtime. I don't think he missed a target all night.

Special mention to Potato Murphy for his 4.0 effort.

Thumbs up to Hase too. 27 possessions - wouldn't have thought he had that many, but it's great to see him getting hold of the ball again. :thumbsu: Also another thumbs up for a very good second half from J-Lo. :thumbsu:

I dont know JLO stats but what he did, he it got right, every time.
If the bird flu ever eventuates and covers the globe they should call it the Peake flu coz he was everywhere tonight.
Rodger was his slick self.
Macca :thumbsu:
Crowley.. say no more.

Roger is one of the few players in this team that has the confidence to back himself, his skills are fantastic just ask Pav & Spud.

Honourable mentions to Jlo, Spud, and Bellie. Fantastic to see Hase get a few touches as well. On a sour note, I am getting quite dark on Black for his lackluster performances of late. Worse than that, his lack of discipline is beginning to really cost us in the free kicks he gives away. He kicked a beauty last night which reminded me just how damaging he can be when on song, the trouble is those moments have been few and far between this year. I think the commentators are equally dismayed, Confetti going through a rough period of "raking left foot" withdrawal as we speak.

5. Macca - BOG by a mile
4. Pavlich
3. Hayden - the only defender to whom I felt comfortable when he had the ball
2. Crowley
1. Murphy

I probably would have given Dodd votes but for one incident where he was running with the flight of the ball into an Essendon player - he shat himself, threw one hand at the ball instead of going for the mark and missed it by a mile. For a tough player like Dodd (or anyone like that), that was totally unacceptable. What made me really angry was that he stayed on the ground. And CC wonders why we have a soft team.

5 - McManus - gathered plenty of the ball and set up numerous goal opportunities.
4 - Hayden - smooth mover who constantly provided drive out of defence.
3 - Pavlich - quality second half and four goals.
2 - Crowley - proved his worth again with a handy bag of four.
1 - Murphy - led and marked very well and slotted four goals also.

Fantastic to see Haze back in form, his work, particularly early, was superb. Dodd was also prominent and Mundy should be applauded for his spectacular screamer.

Great to witness three players bag four majors apiece - something the side has been lacking.

5 - Hayden, he may not rack up the stats (just imagine if he did) but skills wise this bloke is top 5 in our best
4 - Macca
3 - Crowley
2 - Pav
1 - M Carr, amazing to see him get back from that hit
