5. Crowley - great all day.
4. Mcpharlin - another round, another opponent beaten.
3. Sandi - thought he pantsed Ottens tbh. Even around the ground beat him, I thought.
2. Ibbo - probably our best mid behind Crowls.
1. ....
5-Ibbo....very good in the 1st half when the game was on and had a good last qutr.
4-Crowley....Exellent job on Ablett then when released was very good.
3-Solly....Hard at it all day, layed heaps of bumps(wish he could take 1 back tho)Anyone see his attack on Mooney then came out with the ball, not many will do that to Mooney.
2-Tazz....Worked hard all day i thought.
1-Mark Johnno....Out of his pace div on Stokes but thought he did reasonable on him.
Crowley - superb game
Mcpharlin - not much rebound but very good stop job
ibbo - one of his more consistent games
dodd - love his work, we are a better backline with Dodd (& Rodger)
mayne - this kid goes straight at the ball really hard every time. love him.
Sandi unlucky. Also thought Schammer had a dip, particularly early.
Generally average at best performances, but here goes:
5 - Crowley - looked like he belonged in the same league as the opposition where much of the rest of the team looked miles out of their depth.
4 - McPharlin - So reliable and another who did his job well.
3 - Tarrant - Given limited supply did well. Also seemed fairly switched on.
2 - Grover - worked hard and was put under huge pressure from Dockers inability to hold the cats supply.
1 - Ibbotson.
Unlucky:
Pav - he tried and was OK at times, but not able to exert influence enough get in the votes
Dodd - good job on Johnson
5. Dodd - the only clear winner on the day
4. McPharlin - drew level but didn't provide any run
3. Ibbo - classy, and getting better
2. tarrant - kept going, kept fighting
1. Palmer - just kept getting the ball under intense pressure he gets the vote for having the guts to keep going after it.
In a game in which we were smashed in the midfield, the performances of Dodd and McPharlin to comprehensively beat their opponents is of particular relevance.
