Sandilands wouldnt have made my side and Headland should be in. McPharlin and Glass should swap positions aswell.

He didnt beat him out, i think the selectors got confused about which positions they play.

Dodd was injured thats why he was in the WAFL in the first place. Hunter has not been that flash the whole year... you got to admit that at least

Very strange. Headland beat out Embley for a HFF spot last year. I thought he deserved another gig, especially over someone like Bateman.

Josh Carr is pretty lucky as well. There are a couple of young WA midfielders plying their wares over East who may be feeling a bit ripped off.

Dodd was not dropped. He was injured. Hunter might be playing WAFL if he was coming back from injury.

Dodd has been better than Hunter all year.

Sometimes, not being fit at the time of selection counts very strongly in the final judging of players for these things.

Anyone who reckons Hunter doesnt deserve a gig in the origin side is kidding themselves. Can play forward and back and had been good all year. Dodd is unlucky not to get a gig but hunter has been better than Dodd this year sorry to say.

Mj shouldn't of made it either 4 weeks out plus slow rise to form and Lynch getting in shows we haven't got any FF's.

Yes it is based on this years performance. I was saying he has been a good backman for the past few seasons which would obviously include 2007.

Im no expert but IMO i would play my best defender (Glass - Selected at CHB) on the oppositions best forward (Pavlich - Who has played at CHF all year) but hey thats just me.

The big unit does a job for the eagles and to be honest i think he would struggle at any other club. Anyone can kick goals with the delivery he gets - lace out on the chest.
