When the lions mids are up and about there probably isnt a midfield in the competition that can go with them.

I don't like him but this is a nuffy take.
He still had 29 touches, 500 meters gained, 7 score involvements and 11 contested possessions (1 less than Ashcroft)
For what we paid trade wise he's been great.
No current season stats available
Difference being, one is damaging the other hacks it and hopes.
Smith did very little damage when he had the ball.
Yeah i mean that's not exactly his forte.
He hurts the opposition through gut running and link up play.
He still scored a player rating of 15 which is still quite good.
His disposal efficiency was 62.1%, Ashcrofts was 62.5%, McCluggage was 57.7%.
But getting back to the question was he worth the trade? of course.. he was traded for like pick 16. It's a steal.
Player rating is generally a terrible measure. And if you bomb the ball 50m to a contest and its a turnover it still counts as effective.
The metrics used by the AFL are just terrible.
Well sure but he was hardly Robinson Crusoe there yesterday.Difference being, one is damaging the other hacks it and hopes.
Smith did very little damage when he had the ball.
So, you don't think he was a good pickup.
If he spends next year abusing people, on the nose candy and being very good during H&A and not so good in finals does it start to look like you paid overs ?
If he takes drugs at all which you seem to have an unhealthy determination to convince people he is doing, we can have that conversation. It seems you didn’t enjoy his Instagram joke, or you don’t have the capacity to understand it.
Until then, just focus on him being a dickhead.
Why did the AFL CEO drive to Geelong and go to his house? At a time when there were a lot of reports on his off field behaviour.
Does he do this with everyone? Or even literally anyone else ?
DILLon's highest peiority this week is to take a drive down to Geelong for another Campfire session with Baz and Co.Not sure where the "low contact" call came from. While his beloved cats are getting smashed, here we see him give the lions skipper an almighty shove. To the amusement of Andrews, and to whoever was watching.

An angry little boy yesterday.
Blaming the person who kicked the ball for the collision of two other players is a bit of a stretch. We all know Bailey Smith is a terrible user (in more ways than one) and turns it over often. He cost the cats big time on Saturday because it was his terrible kick to Jeremy Cameron that caused the Danger Cameron collision. This incident more than anything snuffed out Geelong’s chances of winning the flag.
The contest on the wing with 51 seconds to go in the third quarter shows what Smith is all about.
If he spends next year abusing people, on the nose candy and being very good during H&A and not so good in finals does it start to look like you paid overs ?
If it was a good kick, then no collision, then Jeremy, who looked on, could’ve done what the other Cameron did? Either way he’s a terrible kick.Blaming the person who kicked the ball for the collision of two other players is a bit of a stretch.
