We're essentially moving our pick this year into next year in a much stronger draft in which we need draft capital.

Yep. The opportunities to get good picks in 2026 will be hard to come by and we need them. Given that, and Carlton looking vulnerable next year, this is a good deal for us.

Small forward who threatened to break out in 2022-23 but every time he looked like he was about to get a good run at it he would pop his shoulder out.

He would have a nice highlight reel on YouTube but unfortunately hasn't been able to string it together consistently.

Seems like a genuinely really good human, especially with his sister who has a disability which causes blindness and she comes along to the games and listens for his name. She has been on Roaming Brian before I believe.

I truly hope he has a good career. He is an SA boy and hopefully being closer to his family can kick start his career.

Geez, statistically he's almost as underwhelming as McEntee over an extended sample size of 5 years. Even allowing for games played as sub (or subbed out), he's no more than an 8 possession per game small forward who goes at less than a goal per game and not many tackles. Underwhelming to say the least.

Durdin for pick 66 is a good trade worth a punt considering we gave up pretty much nothing for the bloke.

Carlton's future 2nd could be quite good as an extra pick to use for Dougie.

Shame that probably means we don't get to draft Latrelle, though.

Not too bad a deal based purely on the future 2nd, however Durdin is on par with Franky Evans and Fantasia as a player. Does have speed and some tricks , so he will get a chance , but he's no Rioli replacement.
