I have a Port fan friend on facebook who gloats every single week about the Crows games, but hardly ever mentions Port games. It would be sweet as to roll them for our first win just to give me some nice ammo for him.
He's a typical Port fan though, watches every Crows game and spends all his energy cutting us down instead of actually joining the other few thousand going to Port games to support them. And then they wonder why their club is financially down the crapper.

It isn't just that Drumm. Don't forget the 8 to 9 goals that we gift every game by turning the ball over at crucial moments - usually because we keep handballing to a man under pressure.

At least for the first time this season we delivered a quarter of football that actually has the potential to win a match. Even in the second quarter it was good to see that we actually fought back, though the goal we coughed up with less than a minute to go really hurt. Port are not exactly the Bulldogs either.

There was football on display tonight that could see us win next week. Can we actually deliver it for a whole match? That remains to be seen, but I'm not confident.

Sorry but we (Adelaide) were favorites for that game. You had just come off a shell lacking the previous week from St Kilda.

This week we are infinitely the underdogs and Williams won't be able to spin it that we are favourites (but he will try).

I know this seems odd but I actually believe we are getting better.

An interesting question..
R1: Won 3rd quarter by 5.1 to 3.2, Lost other 3 quarters.
R2: Won 3rd quarter by 4.2 to 3.5, Lost other 3 quarters.
R3: Won 1st quarter by 2.5 to 1.5, Won 2nd quarter by 2.4 to 0.3, Lost last 2 quarters
R4: Slaughtered consistently in all 4 quarters
R5: Won 1st quarter by 4.4 to 4.3, Lost other 3 quarters.

So.. we've won 5 quarters and lost 15. In only 1 game have we won more than 1 out of 4 quarters. Damning indeed.
