It's an AFL integrity question, as well as AFL product question. If every team played every team once or twice it wouldn't matter in terms of integrity, but that's not the case. In terms of product, people either a) don't watch WC games or b) switch off at qtr/half time.

But we've all been told by many, many WC supporters that you will bounce back really quick.

Today looks like the players didn't want to play, so if it's an AFL problem you want to watch what you wish for, pretty sure they don't want an uneven amount of teams.

Don't jump the queue. North have been bottom 2 for 4 straight years.

Why should North get pushed back to pick 4 by priority packages for West Coast and Gold Coast (Walter as academy)?

If you're losing by 171 points then sack your coach, all of your executive and recruiters and your entire S&C team before crying to the AFL for extra picks. That sort of loss isn't about the list.

And you won a premiership in 2018, FFS

We've been trying to get players last few season. There's another issue right there. Good luck finding players we can get to come to us. Even the draft the last few years have been servely compromised when a player like Sheezel makes a statement not come to us. This is the real issue the AFL needs to deal with. Draft has been compromised with academy and draftees having the say where they want to go. We had no choice but to split the picks last year in getting Gibney and Hewitt. Both WA players.
Every other player was making statements to not come.

Also some clubs have it so much easier to trade for players.

Unless it's 28 year old Fringe player who wouldn't get much gametime elsewhere like Hunt we just can't obtain anyone even if we wanted too.

Hurn Schuey Cripps - retire (natanui/mcgovern maybe)
Delist- West Witherden Cole Petrevoski Foley Rotham (probably many other potentially)

If they trade pick 1 for 3 picks they maybe have 4-5 picks
Trade Darling Gaff for 3-4 picks (not great ones)
7 people coming on to the list there with 5 gone minimum before delistings.
Free Agency with some cap space is maybe going to get 2 decent players.

Minimum is 37 on a list but with there injury background they cant take that risk they need a full list.

People do realise, that in a side that is already s**t, we lost seven players from last week?

We had one solitary tall backman... a 19 year old kid in his second season of AFL, with less than 20 games under his belt.

IIRC, only two West Coast Eagles played in the WAFL this week... and one of those was a Cat B rookie. That's how depleted our list is.

We are s**t, there's no doubt about it. But you can't ignore the impact of injuries.

EDIT: Just wanted to add... we had 18 players injured this week. And it's been this way since round 3. Take any side in the competition, and randomly remove 15+ players, almost every week for maybe 10 weeks. Let's see how they go.

It's a fair point but there is an argument that you have kept alot of injury prone players on your list for too long. Also there has been questions over your high performance and fitness for a few years.
