Qualifying Final vs Fighting Furies
Finally it was what we had been building all season towards, a massive home qualifying final with a prelim final spot on the line. We were to face an overachieving Furies side and everyone was primed and ready to perform. After an even first half we began to get on top with a huge premiership quarter, piling on 7 goals to 1. We began to falter in the last but had done enough to hold on by 15 points and book a home prelim!
Cubs2Lions continued his stellar form on his way to 25 disposals, 2 goals and 113 DT points. If it weren't for some errant kicking Frothies Mcveigh may have had one of the finals performances of all time kicking 4.7 and HARPSichord provided run off the wing and half back, collecting 19 touches and snagging a goal.
Our three most consistent spambots were at it again (damicky, HARPSichord and MayTheNorthBeWithU)

Preliminary Final vs Coney Island Warriors
Prelim final day at The Colosseum, what more could we ask for? A grand final berth I guess? Well we started in the best possible way, kicking 13 goals to 5 in an absolutely dominate first half. We were able to put it in neutral for the second half to ensure all the lads were fit and fresh for the big one. The Wazzas battled manfully and got the final margin back to 31 points.
The Dungeon Brothers absolutely dominated on either wing with AnUltimateRessie gathering 27 touches and a goal while HARPSichord picked up a cheeky 25 and 2. The Golden God (ClarkeM) showed why he lives for the big time with 33 disposals in a domineering display. His great frenemy croweater 41, popped up for his one showing a year with 4 straight goals from the pocket.
The posting numbers were lead by damicky, AnUltimateRessie and ClarkeM.

Grand Final vs Ophidian Old Boys
Well the day had finally arrived and there was a buzz around SFA Park. We were to face the Ophidian Old Boys in the Season 35 Grand Final. OOB had did it the hard way, winning three consecutive finals to make the big dance while we were able to cruise through and enjoy a week off between qualifying and preliminary finals.
Our selected side:
The game started with a flurry from us, taking a handy 2 goal lead into the first break. We let our guards down and the OOB came flying back into the match. They kicked 5 goals to 1 in the second stanza and lead by 5 points at the half. After a quick reset at half time we looked to take the game away from them in the premiership quarter and executed perfectly. Quick goals to JT_the_Man and AnUltimateRessie earned us back the lead and we ended up piling on 6 to 3 to take a 12 point lead into the final term. OOB kicked the first goal of the last quarter to trim the margin to a goal but we responded with the next 3 scores, 2 behinds to Frothies Mcveigh and a telling goal from club stalwart croweater 41. 14 points up with 15 minutes to play and the OOB responded massively kicking the next 7 scores. This left us 8 points in arrears with only 5 minutes left. croweater 41 popped up again to score his second of the quarter and to draw us back within a goal. Unfortunately for us, the OOB defence held strong and the ended up winning the flag by an agonising 3 points.
In a match that was fitting of a grand final tag we saw JT_the_Man step up and lead the charge for the club. He gathered 27 disposals and kicked 2 goals to then be robbed of the Deestroy Medal. HARPSichord continued his fine form by gathering 20 touches, 9 marks and kicking a goal. damicky battled manfully in the ruck with 18 disposals and forward pockets croweater 41 and MayTheNorthBeWithU kicked 4 and 3 goals respectfully.
In a strong posting display by all we saw damicky, AnUltimateRessie and HARPSichord all crack the ton.
