We had our 3rd Away Match in a row ... how the f@(& did that happen, Kennedy Parker ClarkeM
It was another day to forget for The Wonders as we trailed at every break in a 49 point loss
We fell to a 1-3 record & questions were being asked about our ability to compete away from The Colosseum

Jumping straight into Round 6 and we were desperate for a win!
Round 6 vs The Gumbies
We returned to our own beds knowing that a win was required to keep our Season alive
In a performance for the ages, The Wonders came out of the blocks strongly with an 11 goals to 2 first half
A more competitive Gumbies turned up in the second half ... BUT they couldn't stop us from winning by a percentage-boosting 64 points
Best Players included HARPSichord with 108 DTs & 25 possessions, Frothies Mcveigh with 6 goals & damicky with 21 disposals & 2 goals

We headed over to Coney (not really an) Island looking for back to back wins
After an even start (4 goals each in the first quarter), The Wonders struggled to stay with their opponents for the rest of the day
A frustrating 25 point defeat saw us slip to 2-4 & the controversial Spin The Wheel was discussed at our next Selection Meeting
Best Players included Cubs2Lions with 109 DTs & 27 touches, damicky with 21 disposals & a whopping 18 hitouts & Croweater with 4 goals from limited chances

We hosted the Dirty Rats desperately needing to keep our winning record at home intact
The Wonders were staring down the barrel of defeat after a 3 goal to 7 opening stanza ... BUT we fought back to within 14 points at the long break
With the Wonders faithful roaring their approval, we scored 15 goals to 5 in the second half to romp home by a comfortable 47 points
Best Players were Frothies Mcveigh with an accurate 10 goals 1 behind, AnUltimateRessie with 27 possessions & a goal & ClarkeM with 26 touches & a dominant 11 marks

The Wonders turned a 2 goal 1/4 time deficit in to 3 point leads at both halftime & 3/4 time
In rainy conditions, we fought hard in the dying minutes to run out victors by 14 points

We rented some camels from local farmers to sneak in to Abdu Prison chasing our first win in enemy territory at our fifth attempt
In a game dubbed MOTR, The Wonders ran riot from start to finish in an 84 point massacre (24.7 to 10.7)
The disappointed goat herders in the crowd could be heard yelling "BE BETTER" to the shellshocked Bombers Players as they left the field
