All I can say is a wonderful win after a shocking 1st quarter, I have to admit I thought it was going to be a loss coming up. But the Blues are starting to mature, we beat the umpires, Port, were one man down and only had a 5 day break and yet we ran over them. Fantastic effort Blues and you made all Carlton fans proud today, woohoooooooo

**** YES. Great performance by all the boys. We looked so much fitter than Port it was too easy in the end. Not sure I expected that but wow.:thumbsu:

Wow, what a win. I thought we were down and out in the third but really proud of the boys tonight :thumbsu::D:thumbsu::D

Some random points:
- Shows some maturity in the side.
- What a player Armfield has turned out to be.
- CJ is a now a hard nut to crack!
- We may be undermanned for next week.
- I'm ****ing ecstatic :D:D:D

Did anyone see that little handpass from Yarran under the arms of the Port players to get Carlton that important goal? I cream when this kid touches the ball.

People still want to say Ablett is ahead of Judd, the last quarters puts that debate to bed by a mile!!

I think Lucas just copped a knock to the head, so he should be ok for next week, he is important to our team, he is great at intercepting the opposition passes across half back.

Didn't see anything about Hoops??

Kruezer!!!!

Shame about Hoops and Sugar. Waite will miss 2 or 3 weeks you'd think. Henderson better be prepared to fill his role.

On today game, so proud of the boys...good sides win even when the odds are stacked against them and we have finally backed up a good performance and a week on media street!!

If anyone has doubts over Armfield or Judd's role in our team. Just watch today and thank Judd we have him.

Carlos has made it!

Awesome win!!!

Surely there can't be anymore army haters here now! Dominated today. 20 Touches and 4 perfect goals assists while shutting pearce right out of the game!

Juddy was superb aswell! pure class

Great win minus Lucas and Houlihan.

Going to be hard to take on Hawthorn without Lucas, Houlihan, Mclean, Walker, Bower and possibly Waite. :(

That report was a joke with Waite just bracing himself for a hit because he had nowhere to go.

White has been a great pick up.

Poor one on one defender against bigger players or marking players, but good overhead, poised, attacking and a good kick.

excellent charatcer building win. Hoops is Hoops, he will never be better.

Was impressed with Simmo, Army, Joseph, Johnson's tenacity when other 'better' players were asleep.

shame about Waitey getting reported.

Seriously Port didn't have a forward line, and their midfield was strangling us. Once we were cleaner it was curtains. Great to see the boys can dig deep to pull those games off, though ultimately it was the Juddinator to wring the game back, but then, thats why he's our captain.

Irish is the one who should take a lot of credit today, really went in hard tried to bring the ball down, kept the chase up and put his body on the line awesome stuff from Irish.

Armfield is a damn GUN! :thumbsu:

I don't see how anyone could question his spot in our 22 now, he was easily one of our best besides the obvious ones, like a certain CJ..

Actually the other CJ was pretty good too :D

Oh, and channel 7 is pure torture :thumbsd:

CRAP broadcasting, cut off for replays during plays, crap camera work, no song after the game... wtfk!!!

........ but I'm still happy :)

Good win, shame it came at a few costs.

Kreuzer was the standout for mine. Kid is just awesome to watch, had 3 could of well had 4. Lovely set shot. And marking in contests. Him and Jacobs. Taking those contested marks is something that has almost been non existent in the last few years and for those two to start making those stick is greatly satisfying.

Hope Houlihan's injury isn't too serious. Was fantastic up forward.
