I use a slazenger V1200

From newitts.com:

Designed for the attacking stroke maker, who requires increased power and superior balance, combined with a lightweight pick-up. Played by Mark Ramprakash, Ian Ward and Adrian Dale.

PLAYING BENEFITS
  • The angular toe means weight is removed from the toe providing lightweight pick-up and balance.
  • The Oval Handle helps the batsman locate grip, enabling the bottom hand to stay secure on the handle.
  • The contoured edges and shoulders provide increased power concentration in the striking zone.
This bat has a bigger power area, stretched form of the V12, has more weight up top on the shoulders and thicker profiled edges.

Used a Fisher for about 5 years now, but recently bought a Slazenger V389 for $350, marked down from $450, havn't used it in a game yet.

-nice weight, quite light.
-hits like a beast.

Heres a description from the Greg Chappell cricket centre website...

This is the bat Australia's current and future test star uses in test cricket. Retaining the spectacular profile of the MC model with an enviable pick up through the principles of 'WBT'. You'll struggle to find a better bat than this.
- The edges, shape, and profile of the top model
- Grade 1 English Willow
- Best quality handle fitted with newly designed grips
- Available in weights 2.7 to 2.9 (full size) with toe guard

I use a Gray Nicholls Predator 500 Longblade. Massive middle and perfect weight - $280.00

I had an Ihsan Hammer in my 1st year of cricket and belted 176 runs with it in under 14's. Average was 176.00 :p . $70.00

i did have last years Puma Octane 3000 - DUD bat

but, i've just bought the new Puma Stealth 3000 - having used it in a game just yet

One of my bats it seems isnt even made anymore, it was whatever JL was using last year, extreme the belta or something like that, I dunno, I hate it, used it once or twice but doesnt play well

My other bat is from india, cost 60 bucks including p&h and is huge, hit anything in the middle and it flies and the thing that I love is edges fly away as well, suits my game perfectly :D Although the belta is supposed to be like that, the middle sucks or maybe I was to used to the turbonater :D

My favourite bat of all time was a hunts bat, was a little beauty, smashed everything, unfortunately on a typically wet day in England late in the season I lost it going for a big shot and broke it, so its still over in England and havent bothered to get a new one, was very expensive

Any idea where I could get one in Australia? Have looked everywhere. I love Hunts bats, Australia is missing out.

One of my mates has an Ishan bat from India. Its a ********ing beast.

Some blokes in the rdca seem to love Hunts and I think there is a shop somewhere around here judging by what some of them say

I use an old and battered Kookaburra Bubble (one of the first one's they brought out, with Dean Jones's signature), and although the handle buggered (and the original one was replaced 5 years ago, after it snapped off), and the blade's covered in fibreglass tape, it does the job beautifully (and has the same ammount of original parts as Cher & Joan Rivers).

Three years ago, I bought another Bubble, and it was rubbish, it had go guts in it at all and the handle was very springy, so I sold it and i'm sticking with my old bat until it breaks in half.
