All statistics I've seen would point to Collingwood, ie. television viewing, attendances, Herald-Sun poll etc. It will be interesting to see how memberships go this year.

FACT: Collingwood - in Victoria and Australia - have the biggest supporter base.
There were more Collingwood fans at the game on Friday Night despite it not being our home game. The Roos are just starting up in Carrara, so, too, Collingwood, who don't travel to the Gold Coast all too often, or regularly since the early 90s.
When we travel, the fans will always come in numbers.

you cant really talk about television viewing because over the last couple of years footys been on Nine, and will do anything to please McGuire, inculde almost always showing their games live

pretty sure in the early 2000's when the tiges made the finals and were competitive we were neck and neck with the pies in friday night tv ratings when the pies, tiges and bombers had a monopoly on fri night footy. i remember a standard crows v tiges game was one of the most watched H&A games of the season but that may have even been on C10...
Just going by memory here so happy to concede im wrong if someone has stats over the past 6-7 seasons?
