Footy has changed a hell of a lot even in the time I've been around, but I still think there is room for that deep attachment to a favourite player on the list. Post here if you like with details of your fave and what makes them stand out for you.

Mine currently has to be Brody Mihocek. I just love how he goes about the game, a team first pro with the heart of a Clydesdale and the quads of one too. After his delayed start to an AFL career he has made the most of everything he has. Happy to claim him as a Clydesdale brother.

Hard to go past Pendles. He's been so good for so long that we tend to take him for granted. Captain, Norm Smith medallist, six Copelands, six AAs, three Anzac Day medals, 300+ games, rarely injured, mature and responsible off-field. Amazing footballer.

Might add 'Premiership Captain' to his long list of achievements in 2020.

Tom "Buckets" Langdon is my favourite player, followed closely by Brayden Sier, Daicos, Mihocek and the Brown brothers.

Of our more experienced players, I love the way Treloar, De Goey, Maynard and Pendles go about their footy.

Pendlebury number 1. Just pure class on and off the field.
Adams number 2. Love his mongrel attitude.
Steel number 3. So consistent and he’s always got a smile on his face.
Grundy number 4. What’s not to like?
Moore number 5. Son of a gun.

Must admit that while I admire the grit of blokes like Adams, I like the show pony types who are exciting so blokes like Jordy, but Grundy is a great package for our club.

The most consistent player I've ever seen, and still very underrated, both as a player and leader.
Hopefully he keeps playing till he's 38 or so.

Very glad Brodie signed the contract he did cos he's my next favourite and I'm a huge fan of the emotional sensitivity he has brought to the club.

I'm assuming he meant vag excel. Which it does, although I get the impression that you'd only sometimes agree. But I'm not sure how Howe adds that.
