....our best player?

If we were playing a grand final tomorrow, what would be the first name you write down on the team sheet to win us the game? Personally I'd have to say Frawley. Incredible just how much he has improved, has some incredible attributes as a key defender but also rebounding backman. Could probably win games on his own and helps us score a lot of our goals.

And who would you say has the most potential to be ours? Would say Sylvia myself, for this season. Incredible physically and has some explosive football skills. Obviously very talented too.

Watts, Trengove and Scully closing quickly in terms of the future. Jurrah could be anything, but prefer Watts myself.

Moloney is good in partnership with Jamar, who is also one of our best. And Stef Martin is one of our more well rounded players, will be a star next season. Garland is another good 'un but probably second fiddle to Frawley. Grimes, just a bit too inconsistent. And Davey appears to have slid a little.

Good call wrt Petterd ng69, he does seem to be constructive ala SJ whenever he has the footy.

Frawley is our clear best IMO, 2013 will be a different story with Trengove, Watts, Scully, Gysberts all starting to hit their straps and the potential of GAAAAAAAWN to be an absolute monster of a ruckman.

I find these threads hard, I want to pick Frawley because a rock like him in the back lines is essential but on the other hand if you get Sylvia on a good day he is unstoppable.

Frawley has dominated his position in games we've lost while Sylvia has had 37 possessions & 4/5 goals in a bit loss. How do you equate a position with such players, is it simply best player or most important position?

Then there is the other questions:

- Jamar because he gets the ball to Moloney or Moloney because he gets the ball out of the center?
- Jurrah for his enigmatic nature or McKenzie/Tapscott because of their never die nature?

And on I could go. That's why in many of these threads I take a long time to vote because it takes a long time to quantify what makes someone more essential than another.
