With next week's likely inclusions of Bell, Hayden and Polak who do we drop?

The following week we'll probably welcome back Farmer, M.Carr and Walker. Makes for a huge dilemma. One i'm sure the club welcomes gratefully.

I think the 6 exclusions from today's game will probably be the following:

1.Smith
2.Murphy
3.Johnson
4.Schofield (the kids are playing better than him at the moment)
5.Medhurst (out of form)
6.Extremely tough decision, Crowley and Dodd have both been doing great jobs while tagging. Crowley popped up and kicked 4 goals while tagging today. Peake has been excellent in the past 2 weeks. I doubt if any of our more senior players would be dropped. Thats why i have mentioned the 3 kids.

A team with Schammer, Hayden, Walker, Peake, Crowley, H.Black, Farmer and Headland is a pretty fleet-footed team. Something we've been lacking of late. Our Subi dominance should return as the team get its pacy players back.

Fingers crossed.

Schofield, Schofield and Schofield.

In reality I think it will be Smith, Johnson.... + ummmm... don't know. Should be Schofield, but will probably be Murphy.

Hayden may need another game in the WAFL since that was his first league game. Andrew Browne will also be available for selection soon but will have to work his way back through Claremont.

Agree 100% on Schofield ImperialPurple.

Farmer won't be back until the week after at the earliest if he did a hammy.

Bell and Polak should come back, replacing Schofield and probably Johnson. It would be a shame if Smith got the boot, he's the 2nd hardest player we've got.

I don't think you can retain smith for his hardness. All the hardness in the world won't win you games. You need crisp disposal and a good football brain. Being fleet of foot also helps, especially at subiaco oval. Hardness can be instilled in players.

Hayden has played 4 reserves games and a league game this sat with soufs.
He was in the best for soufs. Must be getting closer for a recall.

Belly should be back and also polak ??

Schofield should be but won't be dropped Connoly wanted him.

so it will be Bob Dylan and a toss up between Tatter and Johnno.

Jimmy, Big carr need at least another week or two at wafl.

WIZ is another 2 weeks away.

The Demons have lost 4 in a row and will try to exploit wide open spaces of subi.

they should get back yze & mclean

IMO the inclusions will be Polak for Johnson, MJ looked lost playing the spare man in defence today and did not take nearly enough marks.
Bell for Smith both around the same pace but Belly does him easily for skill. Hayden for Schofield, Schoey was very ordinary today looks slow and is still carrying an injury. We will also need the extra pace of Hayden at Subi next week against the Dee's.
If Matty Carr is fit he will come in at the expense of either Murphy or Dodd but I believe they will give him another week in the WAFL.

Dropping Dodd is not an option the kid can play and adds a lot of things we need in the midfield (height, speed, defensive pressure). Not to mention his excellent skills.

In order: Smith, MJ, Schofield, Murphy

Have to give both jimmy abd Big carr more time in wafl.

Big carr only played 3 Qs of a reserve match on sat.

agree if genius has come thru on the weekend then dropping schofield makes sense but they have a relutance to drop the bigger money players

Why is it people think that the match comittee plays favourites? Maybe it's because they have the full stats, analysis and know exactly what each player's job was, that they keep some players in, because despite us all remembering a clanger or two, they know that he did 10 good things as well that may or may not be on the stats sheet in the paper.

Bell for Smith, Polak for Sandi if he's out with concussion or Johno otherwise, Hayden for either Schoey or Hase (if the injury could be helped with a weeks rest) and allow Schammer to move back up into the midfield.

Surely time to drop Connolly, oh you turncoats arent asking for his head now after a couple of wins, fairweather freo supporters gunna boo the team this week?

Players Returning

CARR (defender / Midfielder) ---> OUT GROVER Average Player
BELL (Midfielder / Forward) ----> OUT SMITH Average Player
POLAK (Forward / Defender) ---> OUT JOHNSON Polak has more potential + Experience
WALKER (Defender / Midfielder) ----> OUT SCHOFIELD Slow as.
HAYDEN (Defender) ----> Schammer or black will return to midfield. OUT peake/crowley/dodd - injury?
Farmer (Forward) ----> ----> OUT MURPHY Need speed with 4 of next 5 at subi

These players will likely fit in with injuries occuring.
