I dont 100% rate this bloke yet but opposition teams always play a good player on him.
Who do you guys think we will play on him? I have no-idea yet have to chew on it abit longer.
While we are at it Who will play on Cousins aswell?

Stanton - Deledio
Hocking - Cousins
Watson - Coughlan
Lovett - Tambling
Winderlich - Foley

IMO the obvious match ups. They might chuck Jackson on Lovett or Stanton though.
I'm not sure if Hocking is quick enough for Cousins? I was thinking Hocking might go to Tuck? or Foley?

Foley is much quicker than Cousins, more so his engine to worry about than speed and Hocking has one of the best at our club.

Do Richmond have some young kid who has never done anything before who is likely to play their 1 stellar game in their career on Saturday night? I'd like to see him shut down.

Tambling.

We will lose if Stanton goes to Deledio. He will destroy us.

Not really, teams have been playing run with roles on him all year and he has done nothing. If we want someone slightly more defensive chuck Dyson on him.

winderlich for deledio. has the pace to match, is reasonable overhead, has a defensive mindset and tackles well.

i'd throw dyson onto foley.

tuck/coughlan not so concerned - watson and hocking can go head to head with them in the absence of cousins.

Hocking to Lids. It's a given.

That would be the initial plan I would've thought. But Deledio's pace worries me on Hocking. Maybe Dyson could step up to the plate against Deledio?

Lids hasn't done much all season really. And he sure hasn't been all that quick either. Buddha's got him covered (and will find enough of his own pill too)

I read somewhere Lids has only been averaging one bounce a game

Obvious one is Hocking if we plan to try and stop though as was said elsewhere Tuck is the man u need to control in Richmonds midfield and i'd prefer Hocking there. Would be nice to see us play Lovett on Lids and fight pace with pace with the form he and Richmond are in I don't think him getting an extra half dozen touches really matters.

Boy, have I heard that line a million times and quite often it has come back to bite the initial team on the bottom. We have had a habit of playing good players into some nice form; Lids could be no different.

Has shown flashes of brilliance and pace this year, but not as much as last year as yet I have to agree. But as stated earlier; We have a habit of playing good players into some form, and Lids could be no different.

I hope he does to. But I'm scared of a Hocking/Deledio match-up, I really am. Lids' pace and general football smarts are top notch, he'll be hard to hold no doubt.

As whats been said, I wouldn't take Deledio lightly, hes due to hit form.
I reckon Hocking will be on him, but wouldn't mind seeing Dempsey get a crack at him if he plays on a wing, that would turn Dempsey into an even more dangerous player.

Hocking & Lonergan should take Tuck & Foley - both of these Tigers perform very important roles- Rest of the our can go head to head..

No chance Stanton or Winderlich will go to him. If anyone saw the Richmond game from the weekend, Lids was moved to the forward line with Kane Cornes following and it completely took Cornes out of the game. I can't see Knights letting this happen to either Stanton or Winderlich.

I would like to see Dempsey or even Myers go to him with Hocking on Foley and Lonergan with Tuck.
