Although he has a lot of players to take the votes off him from Brisbane, I would say SIMON BLACK.

I have been having a look thru all the results from most teams and their best players. BLACK is usually us there for Brisbane, and when he has had a good game Voss usually hasn't made an impact.

Still would like maybe JJ or Hirdy to take it though.

Well I said Simon Black on a thread on here at the beginning of the season and I'm sticking with him.

ONYA SIMON
YOUR THE MAN

GO LIONS AND GO BEAU ;)

cheers...

Well I would say Vossy and Black however......to have two players in the same side as favourites, that is very much a dissadvantage. I mean if Voss plays a good game, but Black plays better Black will get more votes, but if Voss played the smae quality game in another club he might get more votes

I would be very pleasantly surprised if Black won the Brownlow. To appreciate what he does in close you need a TV monitor. That excludes the umpires.

Luke D'arcy is the hottest Brownlow favourite in living memory.

Kruek? Why do you keep on bringing up old threads? Especially this one, about the Brownlow of last year. Methinks no newbie would ever dig up old posts in the first place... give it up, what's yer other alias?

Voss might not have made an impact when Black's played well, but Lappin who in my opinion is better than Black certainly has.

I'm going for Pikey and Mr Simon Black, both have had good years, in particular Pikey.
His uninterest in kissing butt with the umpires though, and the fact he has abused quite a few in his given time, may mean he wont get any votes, and if that is so, it will be a cryin shame :(

I can just imagine the Monday night before the Grand final, Luke Darcy claiming the 2002 Brownlow medal. He has had a stand-out season, and will probably claim 10 or so more Brownlow votes from this point on. He is not a shy person infront of the camera, and he has good P.R Skills. I can imagine him giving a mature speech on the stage, saying bad-luck to Ben Cousins and Shane Crawford on falling 1 vote behind, yada, yada, yada ....

However, I can also imagine Luke Darcy being reported later on in the year. I can picture him on the mark with his hands up and shaking is head whilst umpire Darren Goldspink takes his number.

TEAMS BEST CHANCES

Adelaide - Kane Johnson
Brisbane - Simon Black
Carlton - Lance Whitnall
Coll'wood - Nathan Buckley
Essendon - Jason Johnson
Fremantle - Peter Bell

Hawthorn - Shane Crawford
Kangas - Adam Simpson
Melbourne - Adam Yze
Port Adel - Matthew Primus
Richmond - Joel Bowden
St Kilda - Robert Harvey
Sydney - Darryn Cresswell
Westcoast - Ben Cousins
Bulldogs - Luke Darcy
