Whom do you hate and why

Comrades - this is my lie of the land:

• Carlton. Disgusting Cheats. Darren Milburn will always be a hero in my eyes. In my lifetime we have beaten them 3 - 0 in finals. Oh, to play them in a GF.
• Collingwood. I am partial to the old Maggies. From my perspective, they are an honourable enemy.
• Essendon. Truth to tell, I have always been a bit bored by Essendon. Perhaps it has got to do with growing up in the 1970s when there was only two guys at the school who barracked for them (oh, how things have changed). We have a crap win ratio against them and it would be great to turn this around long-term.
• Richmond. Isn't it great fun when we beat them and then their supporters turn on each other. One should be disinfected after coming into contact with any of them. Punt Road is going to be Bleak House for the next decade at least - and don't I love it.
• Adelaide. God I hate those bastards and their feral supporters.
• Port. I don't mind Port. At least they have a great history behind them, unlike their cousins.
• Hawthorn. I have every reason not to like Hawthorn but they do not evoke a visceral reaction in the same manner as Carlton or Adelaide do. Many of their supporters would not be out of place at a Nuremberg Rally.
• Norf. They don't matter.
• Geelong. I have never liked the Handbaggers and I never will. Boring jumper, boring song, boring town. I know they have come good recently but until then they were show-ponies in my mind.
• Swans. I like them.
• Sainters. I am always amazed by how many people actually barrack for this rabble given the meagre returns since 1896. Still, I don't mind the Sainters.
• West Coast. They have always been a formidable enemy since day one. I admire their (on-field) espirit de corps. It is always good to beat them. The Jako (x 2) match in 1993 is a game I will always remember.
• Freo. I pity the Dockers. When have they ever done anything right?
• Brisbane. When they were the Bears they had my full support. I still don't mind them. Even so, I will never forget that victory over them in 2008 when Miller marked in the goal square.

Hawthorn (with a capital C) - Dont like their supporters. Massive bandwagon jumpers that don't give a crap about their side unless they are winning (see membership record). There's a little game you can play at any Hawthorn games. Hawthorn members get scarves with a badge on it saying how many consecutive years they have been a member. You get a point if you see anything higher than a 3. It's a low scoring game....and Campbell Brown is a dick.



Essendon - .....well...., there was an incident, and because of this, I hate Essendon. Final game of 2005 vs the Bombers. We win, we are in the finals. Game was going along nicely, we seemed in control. So, I may have confidently uttered the words "YOUR A F****ING HACK JOHNSON!" at Essendons own Mark Johnson after missing a goal. Well, that's when things turned sour. A woman (I'm guessing it's sex) turns around in front and wants to have blue. She looses your mind. I use some choice words back in her direction, and then the husband is involved (amazingly it was married). Pretty soon the top deck of the southern stand resembled open day at pentridge prison. By the last quarter, the whole section was having barneys. It was out of control.

When Robbo pulled that goal out of his ying yang in the dying minutes, boy was that sweet.

Hawthron - Arrogant players, douche president, annoying supporters.
Collingwood - Think they're above the law of the league.

Living in regional NSW for most of my 17 years on this planet. Growing up going for the dees, family tradition. My great uncle played in consecutive GF's etc.

But there's nothing more annoying during football season, hearing about EVERYONES beloved swans and how exceptional they are.

Not to mention every game on the television is Swans V. opponent. The very rare few times the dees are on the tele its awesome.

Also everyone gives me shit about going for the dees haha

But i just say two words to them... LIAM JURRAH

and they dont have anything to say back its fantastic, great times ahead for the allmighty Melbourne Demons

Adelaide - I've always liked interstate teams more than other Victorian teams and I don't mind the Crows.
Brisbane - Dislike them a little due to BF but I will still support them against any Victorian team.
Carlton - Scum supporters, scum club, captain is a mercenary and one of the worst in the AFL. Of course I hate them.
Collingwood - The most overrated team in the AFL. Didak and Swan are criminals and I enjoyed watching them choke in the 2009 finals. Hate them more than any other club. The losses last year (Especially the QB) hurt me more than any loss we've had in a long time.
Essendon - Not as much hate as Carlton and Collingwood but still hate them. Arrogant supporters who have NFI.
Freo - Don't hate them, won't say I pity them because they've been a better team than us and are better off than us off-field but I don't mind Freo.
Geelong - Used to hate them, now I just envy them. They're just so good.
Hawthorn - Don't hate them as much as some other Melbourne supporters, enjoy watching Buddy play.
North - Don't hate them, don't like them. Fairly neutral towards North.
Port - Same as North.
Richmond - I admire the loyalty of their supporters but it is pretty funny watching them implode after losses. Probably my favourite Vic club.
St.Kilda - Same as North.
Sydney - Don't hate them but really want to beat them.
WCE - Always been a big fan of Cousins, Cox and Kerr and am already a Naita fan.
Bulldogs - Same as North.

Note - I hate whoever we are playing at the time as much as I hate Collingwood.

I dislike Brisbane, partly due to Michael 'for all intensive purposes' Voss and his outrageous stupidity, but also due to the 'thug' image I associate the club with.

Essendon annoy me as well, although this is for reasons of which I am largely uncertain. It may be because they simply bore me. There is just nothing exciting about the club, it all seems to be good, solid output without any flair whatsoever.

Other than that, nothing really stands out in terms opposition club preferences or otherwise.

Essendon... well i have a deep disrespect for that club after watching the 2000 grand final and seeing melbournes get bashed by dean wallis and Co. may take 5 years to wash the sheedy odour off as well..

Collingwood well they are our natural enemies and i particularly enjoy seeing them lose. But the banter with their legions of gap toothed fans is priceless, its good to see them weeping when they lose grand finals.
They will not win a flag with presti in the backline...

St. Kilda are top of the pops for me, some absolutely abysmal supporters.

No problems with any of the interstate teams except Port who are for the tip.

Would probably hate Collingwood more if every second person I knew didn't go for them.

Don't hate Carlton as much as I hate several of their current playing list.

Have calmed down on Essendon since Sheedy left.

I used to loathe Hawthorn when I was a kid (hence going for Melbourne because they were against them in the GF), but ever since their members saved our club from liquidating itself they've been ok by me.

Adelaide - I like Neil Craig. Dont like the club, some of the worst supporters going around.
Brisbane Lions - do not care.
Carlton - yep.
Collingwood - Worst supporters, most arrogant and unbearable pres and coach, showpony downhill skiiers like Leon Davis, Didak etc. Have next to no achievements in the last 50 years yet they look down on us.
Essendon - Hate but at least respect.
Fremantle - novelty has worn off. Get out of the comp!
Geelong - like. Play good brand of footy and modest. Although Mooney is a d!ck
Hawthorn - f a r k heads. Hawthorn supporters are spoilt with success and makes their supporters absolutely sickening the way they gloat. Jeff Kennett is your typical Hawthorn supporter. Arrogant, ignorant NFI.
North Melb - I dont mind them. Usually provide a contest with limited resources, I wish we could say the same.
Port Adelaide - used to hate, now almost feel sorry for them.
Richmond - absolutely in love with themselves despite being the laughing stock of the comp for 30 years. God they bore me.
St Kilda - Not sure what it is about these guys, but I have never liked them. Cant even sympathise with them. Current players are fairly annoying.
Sydney - whatever. Bit like Michael Chang of the comp. Always punching above there weight, but I wont be tuning in for it.
West Coast - dont like. Dont really care though, its not as if Im surrounded by them.
Bulldogs - Everyone's second favourite team...except mine!! Hated Libba, Wallace and have never liked since.
