What Roo didn't cover is why we kept the players we did. And why guys like Jenkins were retained 9n stupid salaries that prevented us from retaining blokes like Charlie.

In isolation the comments are correct - McGovern and Lever aren't worth what they are getting.

BUT, it points to culture issues and poor list management that such a long list of players leaving can happen like that. It's not an isolated issue.
The bottom line is we are maxing out our player payments in a way other teams aren't. It leaves our younger players open to being poached. NO OTHER TEAM has had this issue like us.

Charlie is the only one on the list our club and supporters wanted to keep. I think we should have kept him to his contract, but it has netted us Fogarty so at least it worked out well for both parties.

Whilst I'm not disagreeing there has been problems, there clearly has been (and likely still are).

But many clubs lose players, have we lost more than others? possibly, but clubs lose or move players on all the time.

If we start talking the quality of the losses we have more of a point (but I think there is a thread about that) but even then I'm sure we'll have arguments.

I would say, the losses we get seem to have more Drama involved in them !
