Tas said:It is North Melbourne Football Club, always has been, always will be. We are as much the Kangaroos as Adelaide are the Crows.
You can't notice it from my avatar logo but it says North Melbourne Football Club under the Kangaroos name.
Thats the year our name changed from North to KANGAROOS and thats why it had kangaroos on it.Black JuJu said:Pffft, that might be the case now but isn't 'KANGAROOS' written on your 1999 cup?
Incorrect! The cup actually reads:Black JuJu said:Pffft, that might be the case now but isn't 'KANGAROOS' written on your 1999 cup?

Tas said:How many games do the Crows play outside of Adelaide? Zero?
Footscray changed their common name to Western Bulldogs, we did to Kangaroos and Hawthorn changed to Tasmanian Hawks.
LongBomb said:No you are not.
Explain why north are listed as 'Kangaroos' in official fixtures while Adelaide are listed as Adelaide.
unexplained said:Hawthorn are Hawthorn, the bloody Tasmania part is a SPONSORSHIP
like hungry jacks, or ford, or emirates.
Jesus, is it that difficult a concept?

Tas said:Because Adelaide only play home games in Adelaide, we play games interstate.
Tas said:So Collingwood has sold all the naming writes for their club to Emirates? I dont think so. No club has done that to a sponsor since Geelong was called Whiskers

There is no Hawthorn now, Tasmania has bought the rights to call the club Tasmania Hawks for the period of their agreement.
"Right now our naming rights sponsor is HSBC, so often when you guys (in the media) are reporting us you refer to the HSBC Hawks, but we're transferring that from HSBC to Tasmania and I think a lot of people therefore will refer to us as the Tassie Hawks.
