Going by this years form, he has had a better year thus far as apposed to last year in terms of output and effect on a game. Carlton are 5 wins away from having a better year than last year, and he seems to be a better on field leader this year as apposed to any of his years as captain.

TBH i didnt agree with him being the AA Captain last year, but that decision was made, so by judging last years reasoning and with his vast improvement this year you would think that he would the Captain again.

You'd think Saint Nick is the better choice but you never know, I voted no.
There was Harvey, Pavlich, Riewoldt who all had better years than Judd last year and Harley was a Captain in the last day in September but Juddy still got it...

i thought last year judd should've been 3rd choice as captain behind riewodlt and harley and was surprised he was chosen as a ruck rover when i was hoping he'd make it onto the bench but this year i think judd is the obvious choice as captain and ruck rover of the AA team but with half a season left to go, anything can happen.

It's going to be out of Yablett and Judd, two of the best in the land.

He will likely get the gig this year. He didnt deserve it last year, and was probably lucky to make the team fullstop. This year he has been alot better, so I cant see why he wouldnt get it again.

If he can become last year's captain despite having a terrible year, then he can do the same this year without a question regardless of whether he deserves it or not.

probably. again won't deserve it though, although he's a lot better than last year.
I reckon Juddy has had a better year than Riewoldt to date, BUT, if Riewoldt can continue his form and the Saints make the Grand Final, Roo should be given the AA captaincy...

Agreed.

Wouldn't be pissed if he got it this year as opposed to last though; been much better as a player and captain.
