Box Hill Hawks 2.1 4.5 6.7 10.10 (70)
Williamstown 5.3 8.5 13.7 16.10 (106)

GOALS:
Box Hill Hawks: Roughead 4 Moss Shore Bull Little Kennedy Ball
Williamstown: Limbach 3 Reid 3 Williams 3 Licuria 2 Nicholls 2 Bryan Cook Dick

BEST:
Box Hill Hawks: Roughead Smith Dawson Murphy Thurgood Ball
Williamstown: Licuria Davies Johnson Stanley Wellingham Wakelin

Stanley in the bests 3 weeks in a row is just brilliant news. Is just about deserving of senior selection now. Would like to see him come in and give Toovey a rest next week.

Outstanding Stanners! Rapt to see this kid hit some form, let alone consistent form :thumbsu:

Good to see Sharrod back in there, the coaching staff were speculating that he might need the week's break for the VFL/WAFL game, because he looked tired. They may have been right.

Licuria, good stuff, a class above VFL no doubt.

That was a fair few touches, and 3 goals for Reid, without getting named...

stanley? timmy

Good to see Licca come in and perform straight away. He'll walk straight back into the seniors next week, probbaly for Toovey. Dont write off the older blokes just yet.

Seems everybody got a kick, so its a bit of a good problem the selectors have at the moment. Ben Davies is one who is putting his hand up every week.

Its going to be a hell of a problem delisting players at seasons end, especially with Wellingham and Clarke both demanding promotion.

I have no doubt that Stanley will play monday week against Melbourne. I guess either Toovey or Goldsack will make way for him. Preferably Toovey will be given a couple of weeks back at Willy, l think Goldsack should continue to play seniors, he has been quite good despite the obvious error he and there, he's learning and looks a player in the making.
Listening to the Willy game on 97.7 FM, Stanley seems to be impressing the Collingwood coaching staff to the point he is demanding selection this coming week.

Toovey should drop out for Clement. Otherwise I would be more likely to get Dick back in.

Cannot see a spot for Licca at this stage. Worst thing the coach could do now is drop players who dont deserve to be and Goldsacks does not deserve to be.

You've chalked down Davies, and his form is just as good as Stanley's. Licuria was best on ground so his career isnt over either.
but you had stanleys bags packed after one season. a bottom age player who could have still been playing under 18's, you must be from the fast food generation. one person who i don't think will make it is nicholls to slow for his size not nippy enough

I said he was the one that had to improve the most, along with Cook, otherwise one of them might not get a third year. Iaccabucci was delisted after not doing much wrong, so sometimes there are victims of circumstance. Thats just the way things happen sometimes.
if yakka was good enough another team would have picked him up,why don't you think other teams didn't pick him up all 15 of them when in your eyes he is good enough.i don't know

He was one of those 50/50 types who might have made it if given an opportunity. Didnt say he was good enough, just pointing out that some players only get a couple of years.
