Well apparently they took nearly 6 hours to play the round as it was.
The PGA has to bring in a shot clock I believe.
If they took a reasonable time to play then you wouldn’t have the debacle of having to come back the next day to finish a playoff

Yeah the biggest issue is that the PGA Tour let blokes like JB Holmes get away with it.

The time it took him to hit was one thing but lets not forget the complete bitch effort that followed. Needing an eagle to go into a playoff and the little bitch lays up!!

Thank you guys for bringing this up. I just caught onto the news and have laid eyeballs on a few articles about it. These include:

Kevin Na is by far the slowest

JB Holmes and gang were slow all day but what he did on 18 was just bull crap

Saw his lame excuse and I found it funny he pointed to Noren's shot as a reason why he laid up--clearly oblivious (most likely willfully) that he had a hand in that shot.

Guys garbage and I for one will not be pulling for him to win squat

As an aside, the comment at the end of that clip is actually accurate. It is not only a possibility but a likelihood in Arizona that the Judge will indeed sentence him as a sexual offender.

Times have changed fella's and real consequences stem from what you think is funny in the moment.
