The Crows love him, his attitude and work ethic especially - and that's forgetting his ability.

Knights would have to be a first rounder - the problem is, he had one break-out season where he kicked almost 50 goals after 2/3rds of the season on a HFF; I've got no doubt he'll be able to do that on a consistent basis, which means he's easily worth a first rounder TO US; but until he has done it for another year, is he worth that to others?

For the same reason he is pursuing the possibility of leaving Port The Adelaide Footy Club would not be interested. He is no where near the tagger he used to be and cheap stats in the back half flatter his actual worth. Be both shocked and shattered if Adelaide looked at him!

Would fit right in with our playing group in regards to player preparation. But Choco has been in his head too much.

Unless he wanted to go we wouldn't trade him, he means to much to our set up. A lot of our play was directed through him towards the end of 2009 which is why him going down with injury hurt so much not only in the semi final but the first half of 2010 until other players learned to set into the void he left behind. So if he wanted to leave you would need to offer something like a first rounder but pick values are all distorted this year so god knows how it would play out.

Now the Kane Cornes thing is murkier 5 years ago I would have liked him here, he would have been the perfect replacement for Stenglien at the time. Now it is a no, not because of what Port would want (because he could walk into the draft if he wanted so they would be forced into playing ball), but because of how much he wants to be payed. We can't afford to pay what he wants when we have young stars who are worth more to us than what he could provide. For what he wants we could probably easily tie up Danger to the club and thats what I really want right now.

But he will find a home somewhere I feel.

Kane is as arrogant as Chad, he was dropped from the leadership group this year because of it. The only difference is hes shit as well. Thats probably the only reason why you dont mind kane because he does bugger all against us.
