1. Impressive effort by our defence. Rampe attacking, Smith unbeatable, Grundy marking everything and Laidler & Shaw running hot at 100% disposal efficiency to set up fast rebound attack.
2. Hanners and Parker must have frustrating kick to kick sessions. "Sorry". "Don't worry, I'll get it"
3. McGlynn was a spark. He's one of our mids who looks to kick as a first option. Wish some of our inside mids would kick more (or could kick more) as we look dangerous when moving forward fast.

Yeah maybe, the one that sticks out is him missing hitting mcglynn on the wing when we were well and truly out, it was under no pressure and cost a certain goal. Maybe I was just to focused on that particular kick.
I have to agree Lloyd's usually slick disposal has slipped over the last few weeks. Maybe it's infectious. He's also become a bit slow to make decisions when we're moving the ball quickly, again perhaps a confidence thing.

Adam Goodes is our best off the field but he is not in our best 21 on the field - maybe as sub - his defensive pressure is just not good enough against the top teams
Talk about slow Internet. Did you post this back in April ? The dude's been stellar lately, despite all the crap happening. It'll be a huge bonus if we have him fit for finals.

Don't post on here much. Life is too short to read the negativity that's posted ad nauseam even when we win.

It's not all roses and I think most of us can see that we're lacking in too many areas right now but we do still have talent on this list. Enough talent, in my opinion, to challenge.

I don't think we'll win the flag, not the way we're playing right now. I also don't think we're as bad as our losses against the Hawks and Eagles made us look. We're a 3rd-6th team at the moment but with the ability to close the gap if we play to our best. If we don't challenge this year I'm sure we will soon.

As for what I learned. Not much. I still know that Jetta is a must-sign and that Tippett is way to harshly criticised, but also that I love this team no matter what.

The best thing about our win against Adelaide wasn't the margin or staying in the top 4, but seeing the boys happy again. They surely hate losing much more than we hate seeing them lose, but on Saturday they enjoyed themselves again.

Nicely said.

When we bring the mojo - one-on-one hassle and running into space - we will crunch most teams. We are still good enough to beat Hawks.

When we have Benny, Heeney crumbing for Tippo, Buddy and Rohan, Jetta on outside - aside from a massive midfield - it's pretty compelling.

The season meanders along- it's post season that tells the story. After all, West Coast just drew with Gold Coast and Hawks lost to Tiges.

1. Past couple of weeks have been poor, but we can see what happens when close to our best 22 is out there. Richards was epic against Walker, McGlynn gave us the spark in the mids, Tippett getting better each match, Old man Buddy still kicks 3. Can't wait til Rohan is back

2. Crows midfield isn't bad, but did they even show up? They say games are won and lost in the midfield, when our boys show up, they show up to play. Now to do it against the rest.

3. 3rd quarters need work. Will be interested to know what Horse says at halftime, we always seem to come out thinking the job is done and dusted.

1. It's amazing what happens when you don't push all 18 players in to your defensive half.
2. We need to focus on attacking footy for the remainder of the season. That's our only chance to go deep in to the finals.
3. Tippett should be first choice ruck for the remainder of the year.

1) Best team effort for three months, if not the season.
2) One game doesn't fix everything.
3) Who was that guy in the No.8? Goes real well, but can't recall having seen him much.

Oh, and #4: Don't walk up Oxford St through Darlinghurst at any time of day, for any reason.

1. The last 2 weeks were anomalies. Yes, we played top-flight opposition but if we brought this sort of pressure and goal-kicking we're right in those games.
2. Heeney might be another pre-season away. Struggled to impact the game in the first half when he had to go get it himself and his motor is an issue at the moment.
3. Nick Smith is back! Was worried he might have fallen off a cliff but hopefully the last month was just a bump in the road.
4. Rampe is out most important defender. Needs to eliminate those horribly-timed clangers but that contract is looking real good all of a sudden.

Bonus WIL from other games: Hawks/Eagles are absolutely beatable and those of you writing off our chances are sorely mistaken.

1. McGlynn is critical

2. Shaw is coming into some really decent form, was gobsmacked at this efficiency by foot compared to earlier in the year.

3. Good confidence booster for group and particularly the defence. If Ted, Smith and Shaw can get into some good form for the finals then our chances are much improved.
