PORT ADELAIDE - Apr 5, 1980Dinga_19 said:Which way is that one Russian? Oldest to youngest? I don't know wat i'm doing is all Zeke. Can you please find out the average age and post it. Thanx that would be a help. Also very interesting with the talk of the cats, saints and eagles being young. Thought people would be interested to know how young the teams acually are
The Package has spoken. I completely agree.Total Package said:This average age of the list is just crap. It should be the teams best 22 players that count. Every club regardless of how old their best players are have young kids... its called the draft.... but those young kids may never ever be AFL footballers. How can a 19 year old struggling in the VFL to get a kick and looking at being delisted have the same value as a 20 year old Chris Judd winning a brownlow or a 18 year old Sam Butler or Beau Waters who are already looking at being 10 year players.
It should be done on who has the youngest current 22 because they are the ones who will be the teams of the next 3 to 5 years.
It's funny to see your despise of everything Adelaide, yet you praise two of your young South Australian talents in your beloved Eagles...Total Package said:This average age of the list is just crap. Based on the teams in the 'Best 22 right now' thread on the D&T board, Port's team is more than a year older than 2nd placed Brisbane (of 11 teams posted there) and 3 years older than Freo.
theorangeapple said:its probly more accurate if u take the first 25 players at each club. i think collingwood have the youngest list but that doesnt mean they have the youngst side taking to the ground each week. they have plenty of dud youngsters that wont make it.
