I think Ibo did enough to keep his spot and should move onto the wing in Peake's position where he belongs in the derby.
Also does anyone know whats happened to Foster, he was brilliant at the end of last year and he seams to have disapeared of the face of the planet??????? and any news on Brock Obrien will be usefull i would like him in the side

Foster had a back injury for a fair part of the pre-season, I think he played about half a game of ressies for East Freo today, so a few weeks away yet. O'Brien had a foot injury, played league for Peel today and was in their best. Probably also a couple of weeks off yet. Thornton may also not be ready yet - he played his first full game today for Souths and in the first half (that's all I saw) didn't seem to want to kick the ball, so possibly still recovering from injury (I think he had a groin problem). I'm not a Matt Carr fan, but he is an interesting one for this week as he usually does play very well against west coast, but generally has lined up on Cousins or Judd. He may well be needed for a job on Priddis or rotation on Kerr.

I reckon we should get Ibbo to be a tagger for a few weeks. It will lift up his intensity and will develop his defensive skills, and it will draw him to the ball and we know how quick he is. And also allows us to drop M Carr! It would be a good learning curve imo.

Maybe that's the problem - when's the last time East Freo did anything? ;)

We know Solly is out for another week - but what of Black, Macca and MaJ? Will they all be available for selection, and if so - will any of them be considered walk-ups?

I'd imagine Solly will be an automatic inclusion for Rd 4 - but are any of these others walk-ups, d'you reckon?

I'm seriously hoping not.

I thought German said in the paper that the three (palmer etc..)where in for three or four weeks(will check).Macca calf should be more than one surely(if true)Maj had soreness,so he should be right.Macca would think not straight in but Maj yes maybe and blacks concussion might be a 1 week just for safety yes walk up start

Well that's good news. :thumbsu:

Unless the club still thinks it is in Premiership mode and needs him to top up in order to get the flag then I see no reason at all to play Mark Johnson. Respect the guy for trying to continue his career but Freo doesn't need a Bombers reject to keep Drum/Head/O'Brien/C Smith/Foster and any number of other youngsters from getting valuable AFL game time.

Why would we not be in premiership mode

It does the players and team no good to make 5 changes every week. All the rookies that played against Hawks should get to play the next two games (as mentioned above).

If players perform in the WAFL and they justify selection then excellent. If they are not dominating in the WAFL then they will not be up to in the AFL.

Duffield will need to string 3 games together to get a looking for mine.

Any news on the Dealer?

Actually that is exactly what we want... kinda.

If he plays well enough then it forces them to work hard to get into the team. I don't care what stage Freo are in development wise, we should pick the best team available every week. If the youngsters have to work harder to get into the team then that will only fast track their development, which is great.

B: Hayden Mcpharlin Grover
HB: Dodd Mi.Johnson Black
C: Palmer Bell Ibbotson
HF: Headland Pavlich Gilmore
FF: Mayne Campbell Farmer
Rucks: Sandilands Crowley J. Carr
Bench: Warnock Mundy Schammer M.Carr

Emerg: Peake, Murphy, Mcmanus, thornton

Ibbotson should definitelt stay, he did enough for his first(this year, second over all) game and I hated the way CC used to pull them out after one game. Gotta give him a fair crack at it.
