Neil Young - The needle and the damage done. Cos that hits close to home as well. I find alot of depressing songs have the reverse effect on me, especially doom/post metal. Dunno why. Maybe because the message in so many depressing songs, in the end, is that you have to soldier on, and don't lose hope.
 
It's My life - Bon Jovi

Not the popular one though. If anybody has heard the "This left feels right" album, its on that. That album has all accoustic versions of Bon Jovis songs. It's My life on this album could so be a funeral song, its just so heart wrenching.
