Pretty sure it was sold out, if not very close to. Half the stadium was blocked off.

This year's RR would have been perfect to have it LIVE here in the morning. Australia Day!Also I don't think it would be impossible to do a PPV here live either.
If they held it on a long weekend they could do it on the Monday after November 2nd when the American daylight savings ends and ours have started already which would make it a 12 P.M start which isn't that early considering people go to the footy when the games starts at 1.10 P.M.
Only problem is that the only Public Holiday that would be acceptable before WM season would be the Melbourne Cup which is only a Victorian Public Holiday anyway.
Could work.
Until WWE 24/7 was introduced, fans in the United States of America had never had access to this pay-per-view.

Public holiday PPV still overlooks needing to tape Raw a few hours later.

Then how about a PPV on Sunday morning (Saturday night in the US) have RAW on Monday Night ready to show to the Americans on tape delay on Tuesday morning (Monday night, USA time).Public holiday PPV still overlooks needing to tape Raw a few hours later.
Post PPV RAWs have been taped and shown later before.
RAW on Tuesday Night and shown Tuesday Night in North America.

So you have provided a link to a comment. I have provided links to wikis and imdb. It was a PPV, for Australia."Keep in mind that this WAS NOT a PPV or a card ment for television, it was a normal house show with the catch that it was in Austraila who didn't have a house show in almost 20 years unlike other counties like the U.S. & Canada."

This. It's like Rebellion and Insurrection that were UK PPV's only.So you have provided a link to a comment. I have provided links to wikis and imdb. It was a PPV, for Australia.

When?
1998 - RAW after SummerSlam, was shown LIVE into Canada, but USA Network had the US Open, so they didn't show RAW until the following Saturday Night
I didn't know that. That would have been cool.FWIW Bischoff considered setting up a wrestling company here after the success of the WCW tour in 2000.
I remember main event advertising it. It was definitely on PPV. Was everywhere here at the time, all the papers covered it.
I remember going to WWA a couple times in 2001-02. I think it only existed in Australia to cash in on WWE never coming. A lot of WCW and ECW leftovers in those days plus recent WWE releasees.
If small arenas don't sell out for once a year house shows
