I have a slightly controvesial 2012 Brownlow jumper in mind as wellOr my special Brownlow wings jumper. I think there's a definitely a market for these, we should start a business.

No, just an empty cabinetDoes the Freo version come with a superman cape?
No, just an empty cabinet
To be fair I thought you were having a dig at Freo so I just joined in. Also I think the last one was 62.This just got depressing quickly
Should we both start lamenting Ross's teams ability to score on Grand final day? What's he got now 68 68 52 63?
oh please make this happenWait till you see the "commemorative" jumper we have lined up for Round 9 against GWS!

It would definitely be the first and last piece of merch ever created to use the Stencil font.
Would I be right in saying that will be the first jumper to have a comma on it?
Close but no cigar, there's no 'gaps' in the individual glyphs hence not a Stencil font, rather just a thick serif font.
EDIT: Wow I read the post above me wrong. I thought HiReception was arguing that it wouldn't be the first time that Stencil font was used on a guernsey. Sorry!
Damo, why does the home with white shorts suffice against Port Adelaide but not against Essendon or Richmond?
That just goes along with the "tradition" rule which a lot of us want to abolish
Not me.
I like the idea of away jumpers. I like a team only being aloud to wear their home jumper AT HOME. Richmond, Carlton, Essendon, Collingwood have been getting away with wearing their home jumpers wherever they want, and I'm over it. The Crows would wear the home jumper against port and vice verse as a show piece, as a part of the tradition of the Showdown.
I don't care about a club wearing white shorts as a rule. I think the home side should be the only one aloud to display their home jersey. The visitor shoul have to wear something else.
You've just contradicted yourself.
You only want home teams to wear their home jumper at home (understandable) but then you say the Crows and Power can wear it away in the Showdown because of tradition? The very farce that lets Carlton wear their home jumper + white shorts against Collingwood?
Improved your policy by changing two words. Amazing, innit. In every* game, the easiest way to avoid clashes is to actually enforce the wearing of clash* jumpers.
In big, specialist matches like the Collingwood Carlton games, the ANZAC day match, Derbies and Showdowns, then the jumpers form part of the appeal of the match. If it makes life easier, let clubs register a set of games where they want to wear the jumpers. Essendon will nominate EVERY game, the AFL says no, you can have ANZAC day and two other big ticket games, so they get Collingwood and Carlton. Done. Every other game they wear their away. The fans want to see the traditional jumpers in those big matches, it helps to nurture the rivalry, and that's good for everyone.
In regular games, the easiest way to avoid clashes is to actually enforce the wearing of away jumpers.
**** that, the clash jumper policy will never be truly enforced if old Victorian clubs rest on their laurels and use tradition as an excuse. I think you're on your own with this one Damo
You're not quite on your own. If there's no clash (and there really isn't in the vast majority of games) clubs should wear what they like. If a club wants to boast about tradition let them have only one - fine. If another club wants to sell two sets of guernseys, also fine.No dramas I'm not after support lol it's only an opinion!
