Spend 2 years building up curb stomp as legit finisher. Give him a gradual, organic push to the top as the top heel. Finally give him a title with an epic Wrestlemania moment, and then when he finally gets to the top, before his first title defence, you take away one of the best finishers in the company, 1 week before the title match. Don't give him storyline to explain it, don't give him time or notice to think of a new good finisher AND get that finisher over. Actually you know what? * it, completely and utterly sabotage that match by having a prior stipulation that his opponent can't use his finisher either. So it's the battle of no finishers. Utterly stupid move, by a stupid company.
