Sidebottom is the biggest front runner in the league and Shuey plays second fiddle to Matthew Priddis. Pretty self explanatory.
There's nothing self explanatory for ur shuey argument. Priddis is a great player, there's no shame behind playing second fiddle to him.

Sidebottom relies on his super endurance to play as a receiver, even if he is a front runner, he's still better thn ur entire midfield bar Watson Goddard and perhaps Heppell

Shuey lacks pace and real hurt factor with his possessions. He also needs to find the pill more often as his influence is too easily curbed if/when he attracts a tag. His one saving grace is that he can push forward and kick goals, but he definitely hasn't come on as expected. Got a bit of a vested interest in Shuey as he came from my old club and is close with some friends, but it's not going to cause me to overrate him.

Perhaps Heppell? Definitely behind. He's on par with Zaharakis on the 4th/5th peg. Both are great forward pushing forward but have serious flaws in their defensive aspect of their game, which costs goals and games. Until he fixes this he isn't top 5 above the likes of Hannebery, Breust, Redden, Jacobs or even Naitanui when fully fit.

Luke Breust: Pick 47 in the 2008 rookie draft. Well done to all those clubs who overlooked him and thought he was too slow.

83 games, 160 goals
You mean your club who overlooked him in favour of such guns as Riley Milne, Shane Savage and Jordan Lisle?

The bolded couldn't be further from the truth, elite pace + disposal, breaks lines and delivers of both feet. You are right about the tag though, thats his weakness can't crack 30 possies when he has one.

None of those players are at our club anymore. Luckily we took Breust in the end. There's one rabbit out of the hat. :p

Breust played for the Sydney Swans premiership reserves side in 2008, so they were one club who would've known a fair bit about him.
