North are so confusing. They play so well against good teams, and then play like a bunch of spuds in games like tonight. Like do Carlton have the worst defense in the competition or what? Every time the ball goes near north's forward 50 there's no opposition.

That's because the good teams aren't switched on as they are playing LOL Norf.

Simple: apart from port they've gotten all these sides at their exact bottom out performance for the season. Sydney were at their utter worst early in the season when they lost to north, we were right at the worst of our early season slump after starting our pre-season later than everyone else and on a second consecutive 6 day break and they got Hawthorn both out of form and with a massive injury list. It's not rocket surgery, just good fortune.

Our game against Nth was a weird one if you remember. In reality we played the better footy, but just couldn't hit the scoreboard when it counted. It was simple as that really. Nth aren't a bad team, you don't mix it with the top 8 if you're bog ordinary - but I'll never concede that they are better than us, Swans or Hawks, they've just hit all three at the right time and luck went their way.
